We need to get @JakeJake and or @FishNinja to fab us up some Texas Best Gen custom sliders. I'd go in on a bulk buy as I'm sure you would too.

Isn't it just 6 or 8 bolts to remove the hitch?

Fight it once, it's not that bad dude. Pull the leaf+shackle, set it side by side with the new leaf, move the shackle over, reinstall the new leaf.

Yea, but this is the 2nd time. Luckily the newer trucks had enough of a cutout to get the bolt, or it would be my 4th time.

you should of asked first. I got a whole load of LEDs in my garage. Would a thrown them to you for a fiver. You would just need like 3-5 t5’s to do the tiny lights.

Sorry, the new iphone update really slowed down my typing. Funny how 'the wrong way' to type is the right way all of a sudden, and nobody apologizes. I didnt use my thumbs, but i'm pretty quick at 4 finger poking at a keyboard. And even better with thumbs.
yea, door lights and roof lights are all i need. Maybe the mirror vanity lights. i can solder wires, but not convinced i can solder to a board. So i dont plan to dick with the dash, except to unplug things.

Replaced the tired looking black trim headlamp assemblies with CAPA certified OEM looking assemblies.

    upload_2024-2-27_16-39-28.jpg

    upload_2024-2-27_16-39-43.jpg

Also replaced the tailgate cables. I should have done these 14 years ago but neglected to.

If anyone local wants the old black headlamp assemblies I have to fabricate or play around with you can have them.

the difference in dim is subjective to the color. White is gonna just look brighter regardless.
But if I’m correct they changed the dash cluster in 05? So eeeybody before that can swap bulbs and get cool colors.

i even fiddled with the idea of trying to find a 04-03 cluster with the same miles and swap it in.

If you can find the right person they can plug in your current milage to the "new" cluster assembly. Its quasi legal.
