Lost an hour and a half swapping them back. They literally work on either side of the engine. But the fuel rails on a modern LT have plug ins on the back. Noticed that fact after we bolted them in. Thankfully we didnt fully torque them down when we noticed it.

@KNABORES when you said o-ring in reference the the wheel bearings the other day, were you talking about the snap rings? I'm trying to make sure I order everything for front and rear wheel bearings. I'm not sure if I need to replace them all, but I know I need to replace at least one, if not a couple.

Did you get your finger stitched up?

Don’t recall the O-ring comment, but there’s an inner and outer seal and some sort of snap ring jobber that you have to press the bearing one way to start, remove the first piece and then flip the spindle and press the bearing out the other way. At least that’s what sue did.

And hell naw I didn’t get any stitches. Got the bleeding to stop with a filthy shop rag. Then washed it in the sink and poured peroxide in it. Not too bad. Then held pressure a little longer with a clean paper towel and sprayed what I thought was liquid bandage antiseptic on it, however I’m convinced it was aerosolized and ignited nitro-methane. After I could see again, I added some liquid stitch in a bottle and bandaid and finger condomed that booger picker. Good as new, back in the shop. Only snitches get stitches. Or wind up in ditches.

My parts list is already over $1k with the discount. Fuck. I think I might just write down all the part numbers and wait till the next sale. Seems they run these things every few months. No big rush to get the 4x4 in tip top shape.

For the rears, there is an o-ring that goes on the axle housing itself. The axle housing has a raised lip that goes into the bearing housing on the axle shaft. The axle housing also has an inner axle seal. This is separate from the outer axle seal on the axle shaft itself.

For the fronts do I need new snap rings or can I reuse those? They want $8 a pop with the discount.

Not that i can think of, and i'd have to order a move bumper, because i'd want the plate with the logo bent backwards.

I've never done the fronts, but I would look at the FSM to see the instructions. They will usually indicate if Toyota calls for a part like that to be replaced and not reused.

No, i wanna weld it in backwards, so the move logo is mirrored, and when i turn on the light behind it, people can read it in their rearview mirror. They'll get that warning for a solid 5 seconds before i start to push.

Judging by the pic I sent you, that could be done with ease, by flipping that section of the kit 180° before welding it in.

Damn, I'm looking at moves site now. They actually do have a few bumpers that I don't dislike. Interesting. I thought that just had one or two designs. Looks like they stepped their game up.

Pretty sure the center section is bent, not welded. Yea, it could be done, but thats alot of extra work for a dumb gimmick.

It might be. I assumed each piece had to be welded. That way it could ship in a smaller package, as pieces would lay flat. I'll ask Juan about it.

It won't let me place my order.

Edit: I got it to work as a guest. They claimed nationwide free shipping, yet in my email receipt it shows I paid $42 for shipping and handling. Any body else notice this BS?

I realized last night that I didn't have the wheel straight when I removed the tie rods. But I did count the spins (17 and 18) and I haven't moved the wheel since they have been off.

Should I leave the wheel alone for now or go ahead and straighten it before I install the new tie rods? I'd like for the toe to be close but I'll take it for an alignment either way.
