Haha yep. Stock rubber. I put a rock through one of them around 35k and bought someone's take offs for a good deal so I run those in the summer and blizzaks in the winter. Definitely lose mpgs in the winter, but also have to run the truck for a while in the morning when temps are single digits. Sadly I don't have an indoor garage, so the truck has some cold mornings. The Toyota dealership lost my wheel key the last time I was in for a tire rotation, which was a real PITA when I tried to get the snow tires installed a couple days ago. Have the 60k transmission flush scheduled for next week, so hopefully they can do the wheels then.

Has anyone dealt with getting the fox shocks serviced at the 50k point like recommended? I haven't, and maybe it's just my brain imagining things, but it doesn't feel as smooth on rough roads anymore, so I'm thinking I should be considering it. I've had a topper and nominal weight in the back, 250ish pounds for the last 2 years, so I'm wondering if that's made an impact on the shocks.

@BillyB just had a set he bought rebuilt in Tucson area locally. Not sure what the shops around you offer.
Any way you look at it, you’re either without a rig or have to put a different set of components on it for the time it takes to get rebuilt.

Thanks! I want to do the same on my '24 Limited. I'll also need to find a grille surround to replace the chrome.

went with the ecoological fog lamp bezel and color matched 'stache. Had the overlay for the 'stache but had it replaced with a painted one thanks to a fender bender. Wish I'd had the shop swap out to the heritage grill but still really happy with how it looks.

Are you saying the painted surround is an overlay?

In this picture it’s an overlay. I rear ended another vehicle which cracked the overlay so the body shop replaced it with a color matched grill surround.

The color matched fog lamp bezel is an overlay

Haven't been on here for a while. Glad to see more LR 3rd gens.

I installed the SOS Performance front and rear big brake kit (380mm rotors up front) a couple of months ago and bought a new inbox, TRD supercharger kit from a member on here. I was hoping to install the supercharger over Christmas break but decided to order a smaller pulley, bigger injectors and fuel pump.

Now my truck seems to be having idle issues so I'll have to wait on the supercharger. Engine is shaky/has low idle when coming to a stop or at low speeds (under 5 mph). It was random a couple of weeks ago, but this weekend it started to be more consistent. I'm thinking secondary injection pumps since it seems to be fairly common but no CEL yet. I'm going to see if the truck is still under warranty and go from there.

Overall, very happy with it for the 3+ years I've had it.

Are you going to install extended brake lines? I’m getting the Dobinson IMS in a couple weeks and was told they weren’t needed for that set up but reading mixed things online.

It’s all about height. Dobby’s website says extended brake lines aren’t needed if you only do 1” in the rear. It’s a good idea if you do 2” or more.

Thank you! What about a front diff drop? 2.5” or higher only?

I have not posted in a while, but today I took advantage of the warm weather (45°F) and installed new tail lights. It is insane how different this color looks in direct sunlight versus overcast. I wanted to make sure I don't run out of sunlight, but I should have waited 30 minutes, because the picture with the OEM tail lights looks pretty ugly IMHO. rp_01.jpg rp_03.jpg rp_04.jpg

Well, these are not going to be as bright as the Hot Tails, but I am so happy I got them. Every time I pull in my driveway (in my other car), I look at the truck, smile, and think "dang it, the truck looks so good now". Call me crazy, but sometimes I'll go around the block, so I can have another look as I'm driving up. :frusty:

I need help deciding on the color of my new wheels. I want to go down to 17s. I'm looking at the Icon Recon SLX, O.Z. Rally Raid NC, and Method MR705 or MR703. What color should I get or powder coat my new wheels? Stick to the black theme I got going now, or spice it up with bronze?

I've gone back and forth on that, and just can't bring myself to do bronze...because then I'd have to start doing other bronze accents.

I feel like there is nothing wrong with just the wheels being bronze and no other bronze accents, but I'm debating if it's the right color for the Lunar Rock in general. :notsure:

Man, those TRD OR wheels are way better looking than the PRO's. I know the size isn't right for "off-roading" but they are miles better looking.
