Oh, I had a long conversation with one of the guys at SCS, I think his name was Vic? Something with a V, I believe.

The tl;dr was this: "Oh, that's only for show. We don't make every colorway you'll see on our website. Sorry!"

I don't know that I've ever had a hat with a Velcro adjuster.

You are not an old man yelling at clouds. I don’t like those tall hats either. Disclaimer - I’m not a hat guy but I have bad hair on the weekends when I don’t fix it for work so I need a hat to cover it up. But I found a new era low profile hat which is made for grumpy 35 year olds like me. It is made with more bend in the bill and without the billboard front.

and I found one more patch that I think might be my favorite…

I only do velcro. Snapback hats can suck my asshole, and fitted hats never fit quite right for me, or stretch and get loose over time.

I have a pile of velcro strap hats that are 10-15 years old and would like to have a word with you. Dozens of trips thru the washer. Velcro still works great. Straps on snapbacks eventually break or the holes get wallered out.

Guess you don’t wear a hat as often as I do. Plus I need to get new sandles every 2-3 years from the velcro wearing out.

Maybe washing makes a difference? Dunno.

You never know. Sometimes people just want em gone. My dad knew a guy from work that had property in the hill country. Not sure if he was selling it or had just bought it. But according to Dad, he had some Land Cruisers and 4Runners on the land that he was encouraging his friend sand coworkers to haul away for free.
Naturally Dad waited to tell me about it long after the fact. Just like when I bought an AR-15. He said, "I wish you would've told me, I have a bunch of friends that build em."
It never fails that he fails to jump on any good deals that I would be interested in. Instead, he waits for me to do say something about Land Cruisers or AR15's, etc... then he tells me about the hot tip he got like 6 months ago, that he's been keeping to himself, with no intention to act up on it. Drives me fucking nuts.

6.2 Engine rebuild got fun today. Cut my finger to the bone in the exhaust manifold gasket, they are made of razor blades apparently. Fun fact, SBC, LS, and LT heads are essentially the same both sides and swappable, if not for all the fuel rail connections.
