You’re also not supposed to idle your vehicle to warm it up in the morning or exceed the speed limit on an open road.

Not quite the same thing. I was under the impression that the little 1 pound bottles weren't safe to reuse. Quite different than imaginary boogeymen you were mentioning.

No, it’s more about the fact they don’t want Joe blow fuckin around with LP in his back yard and overfilling cylinders. Emptying and refilling is fine if you know what you’re doing.

I didn't know that's an option for the little ones. I've also looked for places around here to refill my 20 lb bottles and haven't found any.

Django and daisy got into it the other night over a ball. He had her by the neck and was swinging her like a rag doll….. she was leaking a little bit, but I think he showed great restraint and could have done way more damage. He was just reacting to her senile reaction playing ball. But the last few days I’ve been watching him closer; and he fully realizes he has a geriatric old maid on his hands(she’s pretty blind and mostly def at 16-17yo) so I watch him use a lot of physical ques to get her attention and let her know he’s right there with her.

her old partner was kinda the same, but I think she was probably already going blind but had her hearing and would take a lot of verbal ques from dozer. It was super sad when he left this world because she was totally lost it seemed, mentally and physically

I don't have a Costco membership. The Coop in St Paul will do it but that's a little far to go.

You need a Costco membership. Even the basic one at $60 will pay for itself in savings on fuel and propane.

I was talking with dude at work today about this, that’s really not that bad, especially if you have a family that consumes things on a regular basis. It drives me bananas that mama bear goes to like 4 different stores within 2 days or even in one day

We named him Taco, and we got him from the shelter in March 2020. He was three years old and an uncontrollable maniac. The folks at the shelter tried to put on a good show that they could control him. Taco would bite his leash and whip it back n forth when he got near you. He was buck wild. And my wife had to have him. I did not want him haha.
It felt like that Bill Burr bit where his wife adopted a pitbull who had been living at the LA River, and Burr was out of town...Taco was 65lbs of lean muscle mixed with pitbull and boxer.
He loved tug of war and I saw my opportunity to show this bad mofo who was boss. So when we got home, I grabbed a rope we bought for him and sat my ass down on the couch, prepared for a long night of tug of war. After 45 minutes of back and forth, Taco gave up and let go of the rope, and I did not. We have been inseparable since. Lots of training had been needed, but four years later, he is a great family member.

Instead of starting a new thread, I'm going to ask a question here.
We got 9-month-old Milo a few weeks ago and we have 7-year-old Maverick.
So far we are doing pretty good.
They get along fine 90% of the time.

Milo wants to play play play and I get it.
We had to take Maverick's collar off because Milo kept grabbing it and pulling.
He also nips and BITES at Maverick's ears to get him to play.

The problem is Maverick just sits there and takes it.
We want him to get a little aggressive and fight back, let Milo know when he's had enough.

Maverick is a mellow dog, sometimes afraid of his own shadow.
But he is twice the size and weight of the new pup.
Any advice on how to boost Maverick's confidence?

    Thanks.

    upload_2024-2-24_10-11-57.jpgupload_2024-2-24_10-12-10.jpg

Maverick is happiest when we throw the ball.
I'd like him to be this confident more often..

I might have jumped the gun a bit on this post..
We've only had Milo about 2 or 3 weeks.

    Our dogs are indoor dogs.
We spent 3 hours in the backyard today with me scalping the dead grass for the season.
That is mow a row, bag dead grass, mow another row, bag dead grass, etc.
    They played well today.
As I mowed Milo would get bored antagonizing Maverick and they would just chill together.
They seem to have bonded today, becoming more like brothers than Milo being a dick.
Milo is getting his balls removed on Thursday, which will probably calm him down as well.

Momma and her best friend went to a concert tonight.
So it's just me and the pups.
The first night Milo has had without the wife here..
But I'm fixing to make them a small steak and me a ribeye..

They are playing much better as time goes on..

Yeah you gotta let dogs be dogs man. They all have their own personality. Sugar and Honey play rough, they are litter mates, sisters. Sugar has about 5 lbs on Honey and she has more the Great Pyrenees in her. Honey is more the goofball Lab type, they are back and forth on dominance between the two but if Honey is backed up in a corner or against the fence Sugar seems to get a bit more aggressive exerting her dominance. Honey shows respect and cowers down a bit, Sugar backs off back to neutral ground and Honey comes charging right back in for more abuse.

Here's a shot of them, I was a little late on feeding time and they were reminding me where their bowls are.
