Right on man. Why try and push them out with your truck when you can sit and enjoy their splendor.

Free car washes by the local youngsters. Gotta love it even if they don't do the best job.

Looks like an amazing setup :jellydance::jellydance::jellydance:

I’d imagine it’s like battling the open ocean on a busy weekend.

Whatever this forum told me to do
yes - when folks try to surf in our cove!

out on the open lake it's nice. well...early in the morning and 1 hr before sunset.

it will chop up quickly when all the folks get out there. I'm still learning, but staying out of the large part of the lake appears to be the key.

we tend to surf out front of the Conroe Margaritaville.

It took us about a year to realize you can’t do much but float and maybe tube on holiday weekends unless you’re up early or out until sunset like you mentioned. Still fun but I’ll take the middle of the week and an empty lake over the party atmosphere all day every day.

You’ve got me really missing lake life!

you are lucky to have such a great lake! that's awesome.

I'll be sure to post some pics soon.

see, Lake Conroe gets very busy with all the newbie folks from Houston & such.
so, like y'all, we have to play when the folks are not on the lake.

and then there is me! I'm still learning to surf. so I need glass out there!

There are a bunch of smaller reservoirs all around western CO. I know some don't allow want water skiing, wake boarding and other pull behind toys but there are quite a few that do. Nothing like Powell out here though.

Those are nice! I did a lot of bass fishing in ponds from a float tube when we lived in CA and always wanted to get one of those but never got around to it.

For some reason I let Adam (@AZBoatHauler) talk me into starting a thread about our boat. It's here if you want to check it out.

Forest road freshly graded, was able to cruise along at 50-60mph. In the summer, washboard gets so bad you’re lucky if you can roll at 30!
