Bought my 08 4×4 tundra in 2014 with ~80k miles. Fast forward to today and it's sitting at ~220k with minimal issues, mostly cosmetic.
I was on the verge of selling it when I came across a thread taking about LC tcase swap to make 4×4 into full time AWD. This simple thread sold me on keeping the truck I have loved for many years, and investing the money I would spend on a new truck into what I already have. So that's what I have begun doing.

I have limited garage space and tools so i can not leave my truck in my garage over night with out the garage being open. This limits the time I have to work on it and also means I have to keep it drivable in order to pull it in and out (my driveway is too steep to jack it up outside).

I purchased a magnuson tvs2650 and took a day to do fuel pump, spark plugs, and injectors. Then took another day for the SC, hoses, and tune. Got it done solo and absolutely love it. I have many many more mods in mind but would love to hear what others think it would do. Again I'm limited to mostly quick/ easy bolt on mods.

Let me know what you would like to see, I want this to be a beast on the streets.

Yes I know, worthless no pics. I'll get some. Having a hard time uploading on my phone. But really it's nothing pretty. Double cab 4×4 limited as I am sure you could guess, it's blue. As I get more invested I will be sure to put up some pics. This whole build is in its infancy. But howdy to you as well fellow Texan.

Well aren't you just tech savvy haha. Thanks! Hope this helps satisfy you pic hungry horn dogs.

This truck pic is from the day I purchased in 2014. Not much has changed except I painted the stock 20s black and paint is pretty faded and flaky.

Here's the SC and radiator I just installed a few days ago.

Very nice. Did you sand prior to paint?

Likely misspoke on my part. Yes I sanded and painted the rims black. The body paint is what is faded and flaky. I personally don't mind. I care less about looks at this point and more about performace and reliability. Maybe when I finish doing everything I would like then I might look into fixing the paint and body. For now, using my pre negotiated budget from my wife haha, I'm gonna stick to dirty look/high performance sleeper mods.

Here's a current pic, bad lighting. Peeling clear coat all over driver side. Vinyl patches were just test strips to see what color I like but chose not to wrap yet and just kept them on because why not.
