    Curious if anyone has mounted an ARB compressor under the hood for a non hybrid. I already know of the SDHQ mount and rear bed mount but anyone done one under the hood yet?

    Thanks,

    No good solutions on it yet. Here's another thread with a discussion: https://www.tundras.com/threads/arb-compressor-mount.121151/

    I'm in the same boat. I have the dual ARB from my old vehicle, but don't want to mount it too far back on the truck. Post pics if you end up with an engine bay solution!

    I just bout the single cause i want it under the hood and there's no way a dual would fit under there. Looks like there's some mounting slots under the plastic trim by passenger side air box. Might be able to fit it in the small slot.

    Well worked on a solution all weekend And think I found the the ticket. Welded a bracket together. Used one mounting point as the threaded hole in the body which is a m8 1.25. Then bought an aluminum spacer and mounted to an existing hole in the core support. Super tight tolerance but everything clears and should still be able to get the air filter out.

    Nice work. Looks very clean. Any chance you have a pic of the bracket you made before you installed it?

    I forgot too :angrygirl::(

    Basically it’s a long piece of 1/8 flat bar about 14 inches long. Then took the plate that came with the compressor and welded it to the bottom of the bar to make a shelf. Added the other mounting point on the core support and used the aluminum spacer I had in a drawer to raise it up lever and not contact the core support because it’s a sloped surface. Everything worked well.
