So with your setup are you having the air bags stay at their highest setting in the rear even when empty/not towing to maintain the stance in the pictures? Are you having to set that each time you get in?

The air bags have an eccentric cam/rod that sets the static ride height. The truck automatically self levels to the height that the rod is set at. I clocked the rod slightly more than stock which keeps the rear lifted about 3/4” over stock. When I hook up my trailer the air compressor kicks on and self levels the truck. When I unhook the trailer the air bag’s automatically deflate to maintain the 3/4” over stock ride height. The factory system is amazing and it’s probably my favorite feature the truck has.

    It’s called the FAN-E kit.

    “Fantastically Apocryphal Non-Existent” kit.

I'm curious...where did you get your color matched grill surrounds from? Are they just covers or full replacements? I'm looking to do the TRD grill swap on mine also.

I've been following this thread as well. The "performance package" you have linked is an offering from Toyota that was announced at SEMA last year for a factory-offered option beginning in "early 2024." It does have some similar upgrades that the Magnusson kit has and then some. I believe it includes a TRD intake system similar to the Magnusson as well as some exhaust upgrades and a factory tune to get the increase in horsepower. Toyota hasn't officially stated that they will offer it as an add-on yet for those of us who have already taken delivery of our trucks and want to add it now. They've only alluded to it at this point. The appeal for some will be that it is a Toyota-offered and installed performance upgrade that will likely keep all warranties intact. It comes at a price though and $/HP is likely better from aftermarket solutions.

@81trekker So if I'm reading this correctly it sounds like you did end up swapping out the rear shocks as well with the King rears? I think I want to pull the trigger on these 3.O IBP shocks, my only hesitation is the blue color. They look good but my truck is moving in the direction of an all black and white theme. This has me looking at the ICON Line for an equivalent to the 3.0 IBP from King. I'm thinking this would be a front equivalent: https://www.iconvehicledynamics.com/accessory/24406/icon-accessories-22-23-tundra-23-sequoia-30-vs-rr-cdev-coilover-kit/ And the Rear would be these: https://www.iconvehicledynamics.com/accessory/24407/icon-accessories-22-23-tundra-23-sequoia-rear-30-vs-rr-cdev-pair/

What are your thoughts on these/Icon in general. I've read that I can custom order the Kings in black but haven't found where/how to do that. I want to do one of these two sets of coilovers to get the small lift for "no rub" clearance... I have fallen in love with the Gloss black Vossen HF6-5's in 22x10 -18 offset and want to wrap them in the 295x55r22 (34.8" Diameter 11.6" Width 6.4" Sidewall) Nitto Ridge Grapplers (very similar size to your tires minus the larger wheel diameter) but the -18 will be a different challenge for clearance... do you think this will work with what you've worked through on yours?

I see you cranked your coil overs to gain about 2" is it possible to push them any further if needed? Sorry for all the questions I really want to get this right the first time and your the first I've run across with a similar suspension set up to my capstone. Thank you so much in advance for your advice/input I really appreciate it!

I have the 3.0 King IBP in the rear. I personally wouldn’t run icon even if they were free as I’m not a fan of digressive valving and their shocks have lots of issues with leaking. My offset is +25, anything more will stick out past the fender too far

Thanks for the response this is good to know! Where is the best place to purchase the King shocks from? Do you know if and where they can be ordered in black?

San Diego Truck Shop, they have them in stock. You can order them in any color however the blue is so minimal and honestly the tiny little bit you see looks really cool

I’m curious as to how you wired your light bar in the grill. Did you have to run wire back to your battery or were you able to use a fuse relay under the hood?

You can run it to the pass side fuse box. What I did.

Thanks. I think that’s what I’m going to do. I’ve worked it out in my head what I need to do but I need to get some butt connectors to wire my switch and one of those ring connectors so that I can ground it under the engine bay.
