I can't wait to play with it, I have projects this year.

Would my Vaughan framing hammer do the same job? Yes.

Do I really need a Milwaukee framing nailer? Don't ask stupid questions.

Think so? I’ve never had any issues that I know of. I do have it (Mac mini) on a usb hub/stand though.
Gonna plug in my windows laptop directly to the fiber modem and see what speeds I get.

What year is it? Last June, We decided to buy a 23 GX rather than the 24. I don't mind the 24 body style, but the Turbo engine had me concerned.

Almost purchased a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon yesterday. We went and looked at it last Saturday but I noticed a coolant burning smell and a slight miss at idle. So the dealership said they would have their mechanic look at it.

They said they found a bad O2 sensor but no coolant leak so I went and test drove it again last night. Almost immediately it had the miss at idle again and when we got back we could smell and even see coolant. Looks like the coolant is coming from the radiator cap so maybe just a bad seal or could be more. But I had a scan tool and found a P0301 error for cyclinder 1 misfire.

They said they’re going to look at it again, but I can’t believe they didn’t see that error code and coolant before. I feel like they’re just trying to pawn this off of some unsuspecting person.

The Jeep looks in great condition and has some $$$ accessories, so whoever had it before took care of it, but they’re not giving me a good feeling. Trying not to let my want of this vehicle talk me into buying it.

My MBP M2 Pro works fantastically. Sitting maybe 10' from my router, I get 800Mbps down, 60Mbps up or so. Then again, I literally just have one router/WAP right now (UniFi Express).

That's what I do. Anytime the ISP requests I test my speed, I always

    - turn WiFi off @ the router
    - plug my machine directly into the router

And then test. That way they can't BS me when something is broken on *their* end. LOL

I just know Macs have a long documented history of wifi interference from Bluetooth and peripheral USB’s. Especially like multi port hubs. When I see Mac and wifi issues I usually tell people to try it without anything attached as a baseline then I move to hard wired, ports, channels, etc.

Oh yeah, regardless of computer type, if they're having issues, I always start w/the same - make sure the machine is plugged into *NOTHING* other than what it needs to be to operate correctly, then add a wire, test, etc.

Not sure why you'd talk yourself into buying it? They had their chance to gussy that pig up for you and failed. Even if they did fix it, it's likely no more than some lipstick to solve the problem and get it off their hands, instead of actually getting this vehicle to run and function as it should. Personally, I'd run.

The new LC, GX and RX i4T will likely fare far better than the V6TT Tundra fiasco, but overall we felt the same way as you about the new little turbo. Why be constantly ringing out max output from a smaller engine?
We parted with wife's '08 RX and that 3.5 V6 was still bulletproof at 172k. Smooth as heck, ran and drove wonderfully. What an engine and overall what a solid car Lexus designed back then!

This is an '18, one owner, AWD, 70k miles, Luxury "L" (3rd row) package. More crap than we need, but it's a peach.
Found the window sticker with the manuals--$62k+?! Yikes.
Wouldn't compute for us, especially buying outright as we do . Paying closer to 1/3 of that felt like a score.

Because I’m a sucker like that. It seems to be a good deal if it’s a minor thing. Almost too good.

    And hence my reasoning...

Remember what history tells us about deals that seem to good to be true.

I agree that built rubicons do have that appeal. Was it wheeled or just a mall crawler? Could find your answers in how it was abused and why it's still for sale at such a good price.

"Burnt coolant smell" is a huge red flag. That vehicle was traded for a reason.

I would pass on the JK's (especially 07-13). JL's are a much better choice depending on budget and what you want to do. For the money these Jeeps are asking for, might as well get a lightly used Landcruiser 200.

Looking for a 4th vehicle and backup 4x4 to the family. Looking for sub 25k so the JL’s are a little out of budget.

    Great vehicle!

My Mrs '08 RX is just getting ready to turn 200k and I've been thinking about replacing it but that thing just runs like it's new. All the elec/power accessories still work like they should and the seats are still in great shape too. She mostly just uses it to run around town so it's hard to justify something newer.

I wouldn't mind having the new Land Cruiser though.
