Well, it's that time of year for me. I got a pretty heavy rubber smell in the cab when I hit the brakes. Well it turns out that the rear passenger side caliper is seized up. This is an Autozone replacement caliper that I've now, reordered, since it's free99 to replace my current one, that's on there. The sole survivor is the driver side rear and I will be replacing it, just to replace it with a new OEM one, since they're about the same price as an aftermarket one. These brakes and slide pins lasted exactly 5 months, as I replaced them in September, according to my previous order. Brake pads and caliper will be free99. This will be my 1st doing this trade off.

Free99? Not to sound dumb (but I will).... what is free99?

    Is that a brand name?

I think it’s a take on 3.99 or something like that but it means free. Like free.99, just a guess though.

Its autozone Gold brand with lifetime warranty so replacements are free. I add the 99 because of the sale comercials with everything under the sun that always end in 99. Like buy now with 3 easy payments of 39.99. In this case its free99.

lol, yes exactly what it means. Gotta wait fir the caliper's arrival though.
