    They're decent for sure.
Still didn't stop me from taking one of my 2 sets to the scrap yard for a Benny.

I mean... Toyotas got a lot of really good looking wheels on their trucks and a lot of really ugly wheels on their trucks. I'd say the limited 17's fall somewhere around 7.5/10.

You got the FJ Trail Teams, the TRD Bajas, TRD Pros, most GX wheels, most 4th Gen and up 4runner wheels. Now those are in the running for best OEMs

I loved those wheels. But they don’t come in gold and have fake beadlocks.

I used to talk so much shit on fake beadlocks... Brolocks. Now I just keep my mouth shut. But I still am not really a fan. The TRD Bajas are ones I used to hate, but now I given them a pass. Probably the only brolocks I'd ever run are those. But they're 16's and I want 17's and GX brakes and 35's.

I have fake beadlocks and I think they are lame. I like my wheels but I would have preferred the F5's. I only got these because I found them used for a steal. The TRD BAJA wheels are sweet.

F5's are pretty sweet, so are Gen5's. I actually do like the SCS SR8's in gold, brolocks and all haha

Chiming in because I like the OEM starfish wheels that came on mine, and it galled me to pay huge money to put 6 x 16" SCS wheels with fake bead locks to complete the build. But I did it because there were very few wheels that fit and cleared with the long-travel mods. And we were on a short timeline to finish in time for T2S that year. So, I don't dislike the bronze SCS wheels Hulk is rocking, but I'd have been happy to keep the starfish, if they'd fit.

I don’t necessarily love the beadlocks, I like the bolts. And I like the gold inners*. And as a bonus. The black faux beadlock gives that extra “visual inch” of tire. Which, only jumping 2 sizes vs. 3, I think is fitting. I think a lot of trucks running one size up with beadlocks look like they’re rolling on inntertubes, which is cool also, but overkill for my needs. What I have currently is overkill for my needs, frankly. But I’m enjoying driving it everywhere I’ve taken it so far.

I don't like fake beadlocks with silver bolts, especially if they are not recessed. Gold recessed bolts on black rims look so much better.

I don't want bolts that don't actually do anything, aka bro studs. Like bushwhacker fender flares. Or those gawdy grills. Take those and the fake beadlocks and you got the brofecta.

Riddle me this, if you don't want the bro studs that don't do anything, why do you want/like any other fancy looking rim or the best looking Toyota rim (this also doesn't do anything)?

I didn't state my fake beadlocks do anything, I was making a comment on how I like the look of one style vs another.

You don't like/want cosmetic bolts that don't do anything, and I don't like/want cosmetic OEM wheels that don't do anything. :rasta:

I didn't say you said they did.
I just stated my opinion on fake bolts in general and my observation as I see them in the brofecta on brodozers.
    It's not for me.

Wheels roll... Or spin. Tires roll, I suppose.
Fake bolts don't hold the wheel together, or the tire bead.
Wheels with fake bolts spin too. But the bolts still don't do anything, just look stupid.
But that is just my opinion... Obviously they are a popular trend for whatever reason.

I think that the stock 16” wheels on my ‘22 Tacoma TRD Pro are pretty sweet. Much nicer than the wagon wheels on my ‘06 Tacoma for sure. I was never a fan of the Tundra Starfish.

Surprisingly some places even in Canada list them for about that (found one for $7.11), but then the shipping kills.
    I actually haven’t checked the local dealer… o_O

I'm with you. It's why I swapped the useless bolts to black so they don't stand out as much. Again, I like my wheels but I don't care for the look of the bolts around the rim.

I just wish someone could invent a wheel that was impervious to brake dust. My starfish wheels went bad within the first 5 years of ownership. The winter salt and brake dust combined just made it impossible to keep them 100% clean.

At least nowadays I shouldn’t have that much of a problem with ceramic brake pads. Hopefully a ceramic coating will help as well.
