Thanks - These wheels were not my first choice - but I wanted as little Poke as possible. At +40mm, I don't think there is any other wheel choice to keep the wheels under the fenders.

Thought it was my truck for a second!

How's the contact with the sway bar? I ended up doing 1" wheel spacers. Tires don't touch the sway bars anymore and widens the stance a little.

So I got my new wheels today. Will post pics after the storm. They are rubbing slightly on the little mud flap in the front. Question is are they as easy as undoing the 3 bolts and removing or is there some metal channel that falls inside the fender line or when you remove. It’s a 24 platinum. Thanks for any help.

I just installed flaps. Remove the bolts and then the flap. Replace the bolts and you'll be good to go.

they do make 35x11.5x18 falken wildpeak a/t4w and theyre diameter measures 34.9 , my question is, will it fit trd pro height? ive heard some 3rd gen tundra owners especially trd pro, are installing bfg k02 35x12.5x18 but that tire requires wider wheel and trd pro wheel is 8-10 in and not safe to install bfg. but they are doing fine for now. but that bfg is not true 35, its more like 34.5 and this new falken wildpeak is 34.9 but rim requirement is good gor that trd oe wheel

I have the Wildpeak RT 35x11.5 LR C on my pro. I had to pin the front mudflaps back using a zip tie bc it would rub on full lock reverse, but other than that no issue.

What spacers did you go with? I’m trying to solve the same issue on my truck.

I don't have any pictures on my phone, but there is a hole in the frame behind the mud flap(and felt liner). I punched a hole in each mud flap(lining up to the hole in the frame rail) and ran a black zip tie through to pull the flap rearward. You cant even see the zip tie unless you're under the truck.

I'll play along. Rough Country M1 2 inch up front, Method 305 NV 18x9 18/5,75", Falken Wildpeak AT4W 285/75/R18. So far I really like everything, almost wishe I hadn't installed the RC up front though, plenty of room for wheels and tires and wouldn't have rubbed.

Can you post a picture of your cab mount where it was chopped?! I’ve done a bit of searching for info. I had read somewhere you can cut the bump off and don’t need to weld. But now I can’t find any info. 37s is the way to go!

I got you in the morning! For sure no welding needed. I’m not even up to 3.5” on lift and the plate doesn’t get in the way, I just cut and grinded and it’s boxed out behind it already. I bought the Westcott kit but returning it asap.

Forgive my ignorance…why do most with aftermarket wheels go smaller to 18”and17”? Is there a performance gain, MPG gain, etc? Or is it simply cosmetic preference?

tires, I’ve gone with BFG TKO LT for many trucks and have like them. Yes, very stiff but it’s a truck..my thought was if I wanted it to ride like a Cadillac I’d get one. Am I wrong? Or should I be looking at P rated? I know the stock P rated is garbage. I bought Toyo OC 285/60/20 LT immediately, actually had them ready before the truck arrived.

So my long winded question, I’d like to get a wheel and tire package someday… once my current Toyos need replacement. I’m very interested to know if I should be looking to go down in wheel size as well. I will note it’s a pavement princess, I don’t off road much, not sure if that makes a difference. I also live in the Northeast, four season driving and I don’t swap for snow tires. Maybe I should..

I appreciate your insight and advice.

Sunlight was hitting it weird this morning but I unbolted the bracket behind the liner and then just used a sawzall and cut the bracket clean off then grinded, sanded, and painted the boxed out area behind it.

Man, I saw a couple shop videos, and a big youtuber, and they were so sloppy. This is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. Nice work!
