Yesterday delivered a bunch of boxes with YETI stamped on them to a business, made a comment about how much I use the many I have.

Go back that afternoon to pick up something and a brand new yeti is sitting on the package with a note “Enjoy! Happy Friday!”



The logo is etched on.. but nothing a good quality slap can’t handle.

Any of yall with time to send a few good thoughts my way, it’s appreciated.
I’m in Denver helping my sister who just had a stroke and is moving her husband with Parkinson’s into full time nursing care.
Tonight will be their first time apart in years and now it’s going to be permanent.
My being here allows her to get a lot of documents and stuff taken care of. Bob has to have help getting in or out of a chair. Probably won’t last long. I’m going to be here for another 8 days. Won’t return for a funeral. Travel isn’t easy for me either

 

Sorry Ray. That is rough. Glad you are able to be there though to help and to show support. I'm sure that means a lot to them.

Sorry to hear about that but they are so lucky to have you. I think about that day that is coming and I hate it. My wife is 10 years younger than me and she wanted to move to Colorado NOT me. When I told her no I could see that was like a bullet through the heart and she went back to her office. I walked in and asked what the big deal was a bout Colorado. She wants to get out of Arizona and the heat for retirement and wanted a view. I bought her the best damn view in Colorado in my opinion and am moving to make sure when I am gone she has what see always wanted and asked for.

I felt like a dick at first because of my reply to her about moving to the fucking snow. I just finished drawing up the house so now it is off to the architect for stamp. I think she is going to be very happy.

Keep in close contact with your sister, she is going to need you now

Parkinson’s really sucks. Stalks you like a zombie and steals your life.
