Anyone hate 3rd gen tundra?

I can't stand bodystyle on new tundras. Not too mention they did away with v8. Anyone else?

 

The body style is light years better than the previous. Twin Turbo v6 produces similar power as the v8.

 

I dont like the looks of the new body style. MY preference is for the older body style.
Its not about drive train but that is just me.

 

I like it, just wish it had the 5.7. But, if it had the 5.7, I'd be in debt again. So I'm glad it doesn't.

 

If it came with a 5.7, or a 5.0 or any other NA Toyota V8 and the 10speed, I might have grabbed a new one instead of buying by 2019 used. I just didn’t want to be the test monkey for the new platform. Glad I waited while the bugs get worked out. Like the truck, just need more data for reassurance.

 

Unfortunately, nowadays it's all about profits and the new Tundra matches well with much of the world..... A heaping ugly mess!

 

I just hate the body lines and the ugly grille. Tailgate is a mess as well

Everybody expects a sports car to be fast. This truck surprises me every time I drive it.

All the new trucks are ugly, and the Tundra is right up there with the best of 'em.

 

I’m not a huge fan of the taillights and tailgate design. Don’t hate it. Don’t love it. The rest looks good to me. An evolution of the styling and current with Toyotas overall design philosophy. Bold enough, not to outlandish.

 

Will be fun to watch and see which ones are still rolling around 20 years from now.

I think they look great, but after 6 years and 85k on my current one I’m still far from ready to make a change

 

Still not a big fan of the body style, hated the front end at first but it has grown on me as long as it ain’t chrome.

 

I don’t have the luxury of love or hate with how a new truck looks. I can’t get a brand new 2.5 gen even if I wanted one, and Toyota is still less risk and better value than the other brands. I like the 2.5 gen’s and the earlier gen’s, but I need a new vehicle. Even though they are older models, I don’t think any less of them.

Yeah body style is really important to me for a utilitarian vehicle. If it doesn’t look cool, how can I use it as the tool that it is?

 

As I said before I am 100% the BMW designers with man bun moved to Toyota Is the only explanation I can come up with. Or perhaps shrooms or LSD?

And just the front grill is worth 75K honestly so have at it gents
