    Hell no
I used the factory kit. If Toyota don’t think it needs a relay isolation, why should I?

@Gainer ARE CX with windoors and the factory installed tracks up top.
Hoping soon to get a rack system up there for work and play
It has been great for us with kids and our pup.
Minor leaking sometimes if it rains heavy but not a real big deal
    Overall very happy with it

Installed my step bars yesterday. Fairly easy (hardest part was understanding directions) and pretty happy how they look. Only I don't like is that you can see the mounting brackets a bit more than I remember on my OEM ones on my old '17.

Finished the lift(2.5”/1.25”) Bilstein 6112s up front on setting #4, 5160s in the rear with a CB +2 shackle in the rear. Pretty impressed with the ride. Much better than stock, although I haven’t gave it a real test. Wheels and tires on Tuesday then an alignment. Then I’ll be able to really test it out.

Whatever this forum told me to do
this was my 1st oil change using the fumoto valve. 90k miles on truck

I have been living wrong up until now.

every grown-ass, God fearin' man should have a Fumoto valve.

also - sending a sample to Blackstone.
    to check:
    Costco 5w-30
    TBN, too.
full 5k usage of oil using the 77.5mm pulley on the Harrop S/C.

I bet it's just as good as EVERY other oil out there.
Costco 0w-20 was awesome when I tested it a couple years ago.

THose look great! what size bed bars did you go with? And are they staying on the truck or will you be taking them off and on? I'm asking because I see the bed cover rolled up.

Finally installed the Revesol "All Black" (i.e., Black Ring) steering wheel I ordered back in January (https://www.tundras.com/threads/we-...ack-steering-wheel.112984/page-6#post-3473795). Its a really nice, quality piece.

Also did my first oil & filter change yesterday. Installed a Fumoto valve while I was at it.

Regarding the oil change ... I have to say, that OEM skid-plate/deflector-shield was a huge pain in the ass. Out of the 5 bolts holding it up: the rearward middle bolt was missing; the other four were badly rusted; the front passenger side bolt snapped off flush with the bar. With the bolt that snapped, I drilled a hole and attempted to use an extractor bit to loosen it up ... which then snapped inside the hole I drilled. FML No time to play around, so I just installed the plate with three bolts (two rear and one front with a liberal abs of anti-seize) and some zip ties.

Oh, and while I was pouring in the oil I notice these upper coolant lines that are pretty rusty. Anybody have occasion to replace these? Have a Part No. (2014)?

These are their low rise ones, I think they’re like 9” tall if I remember correctly. I bought these because I’m like 95% sure I can get them to work with my bed cover, I just need to cut some of the rubber stripping on the rails where the bars are going to be. Hopefully it will work, I’ll report back here whenever I get them back from powdercoating

A much needed upgrade for my truck. The under seat storage is basically nonexistent under the rear seat of my 2018 Crewmax. Now I have a little more lol

Truck is at 160k miles & has an “unknown” age on the diffs fluid & transfer case. So I pumped some fresh 75w90 in there & did a purple power scrub on the totally grimey rear axle. Torqued everything to spec with fresh OEM washers & witness marked it all. Front diff was quite gross but the other 2 looked pretty dang good.

I just did my first oil change on my new to me truck. I debated getting the Fumoto and ultimately decided to see how it went, and then decide. Thx to this site, I was prepared and didn't make a mess, but I think a Fumoto will be in my future anyway. Don't wna have to clean out my old 5 gal bucket after every oil change.

Yes! The skid plate was def an annoyance for the oil change. I fully understand now why ppl buy a plate w the door in it now. I will be on the prowl for one now for sure.

Also, the MotivX kit is A+!
