It took me a few hours to get this right. I was able to wire up my LED Light bar to come on automatically with High Beams - without using the Can-Bus wiring. I initially purchased a Cannect M8 unit. But something bothered me about it. There must be a better way - this little module does not appear to be weather resistant - and I didn't want to dig around in my Dashboard.

This is my "Double Inverse Relay Setup".

First: Cali Raised switch to the left of the steering wheel. Hot wire in, Green wire out, yellow to tan for "Switch Light" and White and Black are both ground. Got it.
Next: Normal Relay under the hood - Power from Fuse tap. Ground from a bolt. Switch signal from the Cali Raised switch on the dash.
Now - POWER OUT goes to a 5 pin relay. Daisy Chained Relays.
I used the Power OUT from the first relay - to Pin 30 - Power IN to the 5 pin relay. Ground is ground. I tapped into Fog Light +12V for Signal in to my relay. I ran pin 87 (Standard output) to NOTHING. And I used pin 87a (normally closed) as the output to my LED Light bar.

Follow me: If my dash switch is ON and my Fog lights are OFF - LED Light bar comes on. So - when I'm driving to my treestand at 4am - I have fog lights on, LED switch on. When on Highbeam - fog lights are OFF and LED Light bar is automatically on. If a car comes around the corner - flick off the highbeams - LED goes off because Fog light comes on.

If my dash switch is ON, and I want the LED Light bar ON with low-beams - I just need to leave the Fog lights OFF.

With my dash switch OFF - then High / Low / Fog works as factory.

I used both a 4-pin relay and 5-pin relay. The 5-pin has continuity from Pin 30 to Pin 87a when the relay is Not Activated. And connects Pin 30 to Pin 87 when Activated (12v across the signal wires).

Plug for a 5-pin relay. The Blue Wire would normally be Power Out when activated - I have it capped off. If you wanted an accessory that turned ON when the fog lights are ON. This is your time.

The yellow wire connects to Pin 87a - I used this to feed my LED Light bar.

Green wire on the Fog Light Plug is +12V power when fog lights are on. SR5 truck - no Can-Bus for Fog Lights.

How does this work in daylight? Since all the lights would be off, if the led bar switch is on, is the led bar on?

Yes. With the fog lights off - the switch on the dash controls the Light Bar. On is on. Off is off.

ok, the method you have set up is different than utilizing a CANM8. With CanM8 the auto function of the headlight system remains. With your setup, if the LED bar switch is left on, they will always be on until the fog lights activate.

For my use, with multiple drivers, educating them regarding the led beam switch is not going to stick. And I don't want to have to remember to hit the switch when I exit.

I was hesitant to dive into the dash as my prior GM experience meant many screws and several broken tabs. Not the case here, it came apart easily and quickly. One of the other CANM8 threads has a excellent video on taking the dash apart.

Yeah - I see what you're saying. I don't use my LED Lightbar for 9 months of the year. That switch is left OFF in my truck at all times. I only click the Lightbar ON when I'm going 70mph in deer country at 4am. That's Oct-Dec in my world.

"A" for effort if cost savings were what you were after.
I get exactly what and how you did it, but while satisfactory outcome, I can't help myself but compare this to building a trebuchet, while we're had guided missiles for a while now.
    ;)

But hey, if you've happy with the outcome it's all that matters.
............till one day when some jackass will say to you "so what do you do when you want your light bar on AND the fogs lights on too?!"
    :p

Well yes, I can run any of my lights in every possible combination you can imagine...but my set up takes CANM8 and 3-way switches (I somewhat explained how I do things in my OP post(s)).

Yeah- it looks like you have a few 3-way switches to maximize permutations. In my drive - I rarely use these high output light bars ; and never need high beam and fog lights at the same time.
