Not directly. You'll need some additional pipe to connect the tailpipe. I don't know exact diameter, but I know it's not 3". Inlets I do believe are 2.5" though.

Also, dont. If you're anywhere that expects snowfall in the winter and treats the roads accordingly, the half-assed welds the local muffler shop will put on will rust out completely in 18 months.

Tons of first timers come join the forum all the time hoping to change the performance and sound of the truck for a "$100 and a case of beer" but you'll only get the sound change. Performance will take a hit. Likewise, every single "can I swap this muffler" thread started on here is inundated with long-time members with tons of experience recommending @dirtydeeds mufflers. They are bolt on so you're not cutting into your system, it's properly tuned and tested for your 5.7L and you'll get the best customer service of any aftermarket company for any "off road" or whatever product. I recommend searching the forum for other's experiences with them.

If you really want performance and sound gains, spend some money and get DD, but if you are looking to keep it cheap then yeah a muffler shop can make that fit. Expect to be doing this again in a couple of years, and maybe having to purchase a new OEM exhaust after the pipe gets chewed up.

Skip cutting out and replacing the factory muffler. Instead look into @dirtydeeds offerings. Easy bolt on, actual performance gains, tuned and made specific to the Tundra and you have loudness options from quiet to loud. Oh, and it sounds beautiful!

@LIVE WIRE we build exhaust systems specifically for Tundras. Tundras are unique when it comes to their exhaust systems. It’s easier to make it worse than it is to make it better.

    your biggest concerns:
    1. Low end torque loss.
    2. Drone inside the cab.
    3. Internet testimonials LOL

The stock manifolds on a tundra are very restrictive. When you install bigger pipes on a tundra you ruin how the truck drives. Despite internet testimonials.

Everybody hears sound a little different. But removing a stock muffler off a tundra removes the only thing Toyota uses to cancel out the annoying drone. There’s no manufacturer canceling this out except for corsa and us. You’ll hear a ton of testimonials saying such and such brand doesn’t drone. But I promise you, if they’re not specifically canceling it out, your truck will drone. If cabin drone is a concern your choices are much more narrow with a tundra than other vehicles.

Im curious if there is anything detrimental to replacing my muffler without welding, and just using clamp on connections. I don't have the skills or tools to weld. I can pay a shop to do it, but I like working on my own truck. I'm not overly concerned about performance, and the end result would be for the sound.

That’s a tough one with the odd size of the stock tubing. We should be able to get you close enough to clamp. But welding in that location is always better.
