Going to be needing news tires soon and considering going away from the Nitto Ridge Grapplers that I had the dealer put on when I bought it new. I am not real happy that I don't see getting more than around 35-40,000 miles out of them. I don't do much off-roading but still want a tire with a aggressive tread, so I'm open to suggestions, thanks in advance.

Buy the best commercial all terrains: Cooper ST MAXX! I have 35k on my truck and they look great still and have been performing flawlessly! Heavy, but reliable!

My KO2's lasted my 75K on my first set and I am on my second set with 50K on them already and still running strong. I have them on my 20" rims.

And by the way, find a good price anywhere on the internet and Discount Tire will price match them minus some % discount. It worked for me every time.

And the new KO3's should be released pretty soon as well.

I had Continental TerrainContact on my 4Runner and they were fine, and I have TerrainContact in LT275/70R18 on my Tundra and they are also fine. I will most likely buy them again. My primary reason for purchase is the objective testing from Tire Rack. Wish there was more data based info for tires out there vs everyone just recommending the last tire they bought.

At this point the one's in consideration are Toyo A/T 3's, Falken Wildpeak A/T 4, Nitto Recon Grappler but I haven't been able to make a decision as of yet. Pretty sure I'm going to stay with the size that came on it new which is 265/60 20R and hopefully that would be a good decision, boy you sure can get in the weeds shopping tires.

I find that tire life has more to do with driving habits and weight. P rated vs LT metric also makes a difference. My rig is heavy but I drive like an old man 70% of the time. I have friends with much lighter rigs that drive like idiots and get fewer miles out of their tires. My Cooper AT3's (LT) made it just past 51k and were at 4-5/32's. My Michelin LTX AT2's (p rated) only made it to 26k miles with the same tread depth left.

@HulkSmurf14 description of Cooper ST Maxx is spot on. I liked the AT3's better - they are lighter and quieter, but still last a long while. My Toyo AT3's buzzed, but I hear very little similar feedback.

The Wildpeak AT4's are new, as are the Recon Grapplers, so not a lot of feedback on those for longevity. I hear and see a lot of good things about Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T' but they are SUPER heavy for their size. I'm super happy with my new Nokian Outpost NAT's but only have 5k or so on them so far.

What’s your intended use and climate? Lots of snow or rain or off-road or what? It would be foolhardy to make a suggestion without a bit more info.

I like the idea of the Wildpeak A/T4W, but I’m too chicken to try a brand new tire…

Might be worth looking for a set of A/T3W at a discounted price since the new model is out…

Well, I’ll be pulling my Cooper Discoverer A/T3 XLT set off before too long, with just over 60,000 miles on them right now. Betting I can get 70K if I really want to…

My new Wildpeak A/T3W are already mounted up on the new wheels and ready to go.
