2024 Limited, iForce Max hybrid, 6.5ft bed, TRD off-road package, TRD 20in wheels, TRD Grille, TRD skid plate, blacked-out badges, NYTOP Rear Recovery Points; Red, aFe Power Front Tow Hooks Red
I am upgrading from my 2010 Taco TRD.

I have a 2024 Tundra I-Force Max, 6.5 ft bed, Limited in Lunar Rock being delivered next month. I have PVM+ BSM Tow Mirrors, TRD Off-Road Package, TRD Front Skid Plate, Black Exhaust Tip, Black Running Boards, Spray-on Bed Liner, Black Tailgate Badge, and other adds.

I can add a 3 in factory lift but they want $5859.38. Would it be better / cheaper to do a lift aftermarket? The factory/dealer uses all OEM parts and would be under warranty.

Also, Any recommendations on tires that would be better than stock? It has the TRD 20" rims. But, I am looking for a more aggressive AT-type tire.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Dave

If you like a 3” lift I would go with factory trd. The new Tundra has too many sensor to mess with. Nothing beats a Toyota backed lift.

Thanks Tom. The lift (parts) are like $2999 but labor is close to $3000. But you are probably correct. With all the sensors and getting the correct alignment, rake, etc it probably is better to have them do it.

Full warranty with the TRD lift installed by toyota. And a few minutes of reading tundras forums will confirm that you need a full warranty on the new gen. I would spend the money on the lift with warranty if you have the coin.

Did you end up getting the factory lift? How do you like it?

No. I decided against it for now. Other things I want to do first and only so much cash! LOL!
