    I have a 23 trd off-road with trd lift installed on a 1794
I added the Nitto recons 285 65 20 s and have slight rub at full lock
The info on the lift said this size would have been a no problem issue however here we are

I kept the wheels and love them so I’ll deal until I need new tires then I size down to 275 and hopefully that’ll do it
    Love the truck

Check the skid plate, some have found alittle bend will cure this.

Where is the rub? Fender, lining, sway bar? I am waiting on delivery of a 1794 with the TRD Lift and initially wanted to do 295/65 20 but may back it off to 275/65 20 if the width is the issue.

The dealer said it was the sway bar
Of course when I asked about the contradiction in the lift kit explanation they just shrugged

I also took it to our local off road shop and they said sway bar too

Did the local shop offer a solution?

I don't recall where I saw it, but I have seen some saw switching to the TRD Pro sway bar was a solution. I don't have my truck yet (3 weeks til delivery) so I cannot confirm if there is a difference in the design / structure of the sway bars to allow the clearance. I'll probably stick to the 275/65 20 Recons and hope it clears.

The only solution they offered were different wheels or spacers which in our area will not pass inspection

so I’ll just deal until I switch tires

I saw this in another thread and made me think of our exchange. It seems the TRD Sway Bar spacer might be too large and the Icon Spacer Kit is a good substitute. Once I take delivery of mine, I will be looking into this further.

Just for a datapoint I have a 2024 Tundra TRD Sport I was planning to install 285/65/20 Falken Wildpeaks with no leveling kit yet. But when they mounted the first tire up it was rubbing the upper control arm.

Not sure if it’s the TRD Sport wheel offset or something else, but I guess it’s either new control arms or a smaller tire.

im running 285/65R20 BFG KO2’s and they look great with no rub. Don’t have a before-lift pic at the moment, but I’ll try to post one later.
