I wasn't sure if I should post this in Lighting or Electrical.

When I put my 03 Tundra in reverse, if my foot is also on the brake, then my right turn indicator glows solid on the dash, while my right front and right rear indicators also glow solid, and my right reverse light does not come on.

If I take my foot off the brake, while in reverse, then the right signals turn off like normal.

I don't know much about electricity. But I first noticed this about a month ago. :help:

What do the wires look like? Any taps or splices?

    Not on the tail light.
I have never removed the front signal on this truck. I guess that's the next step.

When I set the parking brake and take my foot off the brake pedal while in reverse, the reverse lights work like normal and the turn signal light goes away.

So it's got to be related to the brake, I would think.

No LEDs in the tail lights or front signals.

check for blown bulbs first. like remove all the bulbs and add one back at a time. if the dual filament ones blow and the filament ends up touching the other one it causes all kinds of weird shit

Is this the truck that just got a backup camera?

All the bulbs are operational. I even tried changing them all to new bulbs.

Here's the newest development. I turned on the marker lights and the hazards...
The right red marker light is blinking opposite of the right signal blinking.
The truck looks like a police vehicle from one side o_O

Check the switch, see if power is bleeding over.

Yes, but this issue isn't a new development. This has been going on for at least a month. The camera just went on yesterday, which is what reminded me, because at night I could see the amber light in the camera view

Do you have one of the trailer harness adapters on this truck? Believe there was a tsb for some of the original Toyota adapters.

It has the tow package with 7 pin, if that's what you're asking.

This package is probably a wire harness adapter that plugs in between the factory harness. Maybe you can unplug the tow harness adapter and plug the factory harness back together and eliminate the adapter to see if the problem still persists.

i'd be looking at grounds in the back of the truck at this point. overloading a poor ground will lead to power finding ground in other places

Yup, I was gonna say the same thing, specifically the ground for the right side.

    Problem solved. :muscleflexing:

It was the OEM tow harness. Unplugged it and everything works now.

I guess now I have to order a new one.
