You're too kind. Thank you! I'm really glad to hear that you're happy. Your Tundra looks great!

Here's a fairly recent picture of my 2005 Tundra Access Cab with our 18x9" BFD wheels in dark metallic blue:

I heard that Toyota had some QC issues with their caps again (just like the original PTR18-35092 caps).

We just recently made some blank caps, and some customers are adding "TRD" decals to them to simulate the look of the OEM TRD caps.

My DIY bronze caps before I switched them out last week. Put the TRD logos on, then hit them with clear coat to protect them from rain and the car wash.

The Metallic blue BFD with your Color looks good. I'm actually debating on the 18/9 BFD for my 05 AC, in Black. What are they, the 0+ Offset and 5" BS? How far are they sticking out, if you don't mind me asking. just seeing how much tire will poke with the flares I have.

    Thank you!

We're running some really good specials on the matte black 18x9" +0mm offset BFDs right now. My set of BFDs is the older version too (same diameter and offset as the newer version, but not flow formed). I've had my set for about 7 years. The current BFDs are now manufactured with the flow forming process. Flow forming allowed us to keep the weight down while simultaneously increasing the load rating (i.e. the wheels are stronger than before and just as light).

As for the stance - my 2005 Tundra is an access cab SR5 without fender flares. The truck is lifted approximately 2" with coilovers and Total Chaos upper control arms. The wheels are 18x9" +0mm (5" backspacing) BFDs with 285/65R18 Toyo Open Country all terrain tires stick. This setup "sticks out" out approximately .5" to 1.0" past the edge of the fender (when measuring from the top of the fender) depending on whether you're considering the edge of the tread or the outer edge of the sidewall. If you have the factory fender flares (or similar), then the same setup should be "about" flush give or take .5".

I do like the contrast of those wheels against a dark colored truck. My truck is a lighter color and I like the contrast of my darker wheels against it. I would run machined wheels if not the black ones I have. But not chrome. Never chrome.

I mean, V6 and I6 in general tend to be torquey. V6 also came with manual 4WD. And I have a suspicion they probably came in 5-15% less than the V8.

Never thought I'd say this but these trucks look kinda mean without a bumper. I don't hate it as much as I thought I would.
