Well, got the offending lifter out. It’s fucked. There’s some missing metal, which means it’s in the motor. Lifter roller is missing all the needle bearings. Part of the roller is missing too. lifter bore is scratched up from removing the lifter. Have to hone that out. Spoke to a mechanic buddy, he recommends pulling the motor to get the oil pan pulled and all the oil jackets blown out. Guess we’re pulling the motor. Will be a hell of a lot easier to reassemble out of the truck.

Yeah. Scratched pretty good. Can’t feel most of them, but that 3 o’clock has a palpable groove. Nothing sharp or catching. Gonna hone and see if it’s recoverable, should be. Otherwise it’s bore and sleeve.

I need a carport. HOA will definitely not approve, but insurance from hail around here would be nice

I have the 333 Fabrications. I'd buy anything solo motorsports without questioning it. Their stuff is all top notch. More adjustability than 333 Fab (minimum, neutral, and maximum). Word of advice is if you have plans for any suspension or wheel/tire changes in the future do it all at once. Little bit more work required to adjust these things, but once dialed its set it and forget it.

    Thanks.

I actually intend on keeping my suspension stock, but I'm replacing components and had to cut the OEM sleeves to get my lower control arms out. Just considering these because they are cheaper than OEM ($120 for octogons and bolts) and might be more foolproof.

+1 they build some of the best quality parts $ can buy

if I had the $$$ I’d go down the route of the Lower Ball Joint Conversion to Uniball that they got.

If you’re keeping it stock go with the ones you linked. More adjustability. You’ll play with it more initially, but once locked in you’ll only need toe adjustment.

Pretty cool, I've never seen one of those before. Very space efficient for items like recovery gear or a compressor.

I need to get one of those swing cases.

So far I've conquered most of my trucks' homie-do list, since Friday.

    Fog light replacements ✓
    Dash light replacements ✓
    Touch screen replacement ✓
    Hands-free mic install ✓
    Back-up camera install ✓
Tail gate handle replacement and misc tailgate issues solved ✓

    Still need to:
    • Extend RS3200 antenna
    • Fix rocking driver seat
    • Solve why vent/floor/defrost knob is stubborn
    • Order new climate control knob (broke it)
    • Solve why Pioneer AVH400NEX screen malfunctions when I hit a big bump or push the bottom of screen too hard
    • Install rear 5100's
    • install AALs

I remember somebody saying a bunch of mess about the CO bumpers only being 3/16", but I just checked and so are the BFF bumpers. The CO is 108lbs on their website, but I'm not sure if that's just the bumper or it's thats the full bumper with brush guard.
Their aluminum bumper is 53lbs. But I would only run aluminum if I was a go-fast desert jumper

How do you like that brand? I almost went cheap on mine, but reviews weren't great. Also, with the swing case brand you buy brackets to fit whatever vehicle and re use the box. So makes it pretty cheap down the road

Vevor (as a brand) is pretty well known for copying designs of other brands and undercutting pricing, sometimes selling as much as 75% less from others. Hell, their slogan is "tough tools, half price", they know what they're doing. And I have no doubt it's probably sanctioned or funded by scAmazon.

They're the ones who made this stainless 3-drawer I installed in my old shop bench recently: https://www.tundras.com/threads/wha...-did-you-do-today.25160/page-391#post-3452766

I paid $170 with tax and shipping for it. Absurd when the same unit from outdoor grill brands are 3x-5x that.
