That's how I set everything up. But if I'm trying to track down an issue I'll just turn COTS off to make sure there's no interference from it. Simplify things until I can figure out what's happening.

Well, had the blower on for 3 months before needing to remove for maintenance already. Knock sensor harness through a code. Xmas lights on the dash. Got the harness thru Amazon next day for $43 and installed last night. Took 2.5 hrs from belt off to bleeding the sc coolant. Not too bad!!

God damn FFV maps and all it's extra tables! Found another COTS table. Looks like FFV has 2, the EQ ratio base and a EQ ratio base min table. Base min was stock values. Ill disable COTS, log, see where I'm at, and then set base min, re-enable..... I have a feeling there lies my issue:facepalm:

Caused by something supercharger related or just a coincidence?

    Too many mods to come

No way it's supercharger related. No reason the blower would ruin a knock sensor.

Agreed, but he said knock sensor harness, so maybe it rubbed or got pinched or something. Not really a common failure unless you've got mice living in your truck.

Unfortunate coincidence. I had to shopvac a mouse nest under my oe intake manifold when installing the blower. Must have had some damage to the harness. Knock sensor seems fine. Knock on wood. Harness replacement seems to have done the trick. Semi painful solo job, but if I’m being honest, the most frustrating part was getting the belt tensioner loose enough to pop the belt off the blower pulley lol my 3/8 drive handle was a little short and I didn’t have much to hold onto.

Looks to be a bingo! For any of you working off of a FFV stock map make for sure that you adjust both EQ ratio base and EQ ratio base minimum tables in COTS. I'm now seeing 9.5 A/F in my datalog where I'm commanding 1.498 PE. I have to let my tune settle but it seems to have fixed the lean out issue in WOT:thumbsup:

Checked my catch can for the first time since install (700ish miles), and it had about 1/4" of brownish oily liquid in it. Clearer than the milkshake some others have posted. This is with the new version radium with the check ball removed.

Good to see the radium is working as it should. I’m still surprised by what showed up in mine.

Yea, it wasn't bone dry so at least it's doing something. I still want to pull the return line off and see if anything is getting past the can.

Just pulled the trigger on a magnuson SC for my 2018 tundra limited. Dealer tried to hit me with 30% for shipping…..FFS you are already getting a pile for install, always trying to get way more than they deserve. Purchased through magnuson website and shipping was only 270, not the 2300 they tried to get out of me. End rant. Should be here in 4-6 weeks

Have any of you running the PSB1 been able to utilize the serial port connection to monitor A/F via scanner? Their data link cable only way? I have tried and gave up. Been running innovatives logworks software in conjunction with vcm Scanner when datlogging but it would be nice to use just one program. :notsure:

Couldnt get HP to see the wideband data when I tried it. logworks works fine, so I know the PC is getting the input.

EDIT: I’m retarded. I realize you are asking about the serial port and NOT using the pro link. Doh.

If you are asking what I think you are asking - then, yes. I am able to get both AFR and Boost into VCM Scanner. I have and MPVI3, but I believe and MPVI2 is also capable as long as you purchase the pro feature set (software side) and a Prolink or ProLink+ (hardware side).

With the MPVI3 and ProLink+ it is quite simple; the MPVI3 comes with the pro feature set included so you just need to purchase the ProLink+. IIRC, the red wire and the blue wire on the ProLink are for analog inputs and you honestly just need to connect one of them to the yellow(?) wire on the main harness for the PSB-1. If you look back a page or two, I think I posted a pic of the wiring schematic for the PSB-1. I can post a few pics of the hardware setup when I get home this evening.

As for setting it up in VCM Scanner, the AFR has a preset, so you just have to select the correct one. If memory serves, you add a channel to monitor, selecting User Input, MPVI or ProLink+, then select the red wire or white wire. Click ok then right click on the channel and select Transform. Go down to the User Input, AFR or Wideband, and under on of the options along with AEM and such, there is PSB-1 Wideband. Select it. Then you are good to go.

I’ll look at my machine tonight and try to get some screenshots for you. The Boost is a little bit more work to get imported, but only a little more complicated. And my formula is still a little off, though I think I just need a little more offset.

Yes sir was trying to force the serial port from the psb-1 out. Haven't gotten the pro link cable yet.

Strange, maybe an issue with the software. I would submit a ticket with HPTuners support since it's working with the native software, or try the beta version just for the scanner.

Have you saved the channel configuration once you get the AFR to show up via serial port? Perhaps try saving it, then writing the configuration to the device itself. If you have set up stand alone data logging, those are basically the steps I’m talking about. I have played with the configuration list a few times but have always written it to the device in case I want to data log without the computer attached, so I can’t say if that will actually make a difference, but I would think it’s worth trying. Easy enough to do.

    quick question.

I loaded the OTS tune for my truck that is provided by Magnuson via RTD HP Tuners. Can I datalog from that same device that was provided in the kit? I'd like to log a few runs and get them looked at and tweaked as they see fit. TIA
