I have a 2014 Texas Edition which came with 20" chrome ultra grinder wheels. I believe that's what they're called. Anyways with its current offset, would I be able to run 35x12.5 tires? I love the style of the wheels and want to keep it although tomorrow I'm dropping it off to get a 3rd set for warranty replacement. I will be giving the truck a 6 inch lift. And if anyone has input on a preferred brand lift kit please share some info. Really wanted to let Toyota do all the work but they're asking for quite a bit.

I think a lot of the 6-7" lifts require a lower back spacing than you'd need on a 3/1, I'd assume it'd be a 0 or +1 offset, but I could be wrong. Maybe one of the guys with a tall lift could chime in, @Jsena comes to mind first. Are you really wanting a 6" lift, or are you just wanting to fit 35's?

Besides the agressive stance, I do need it because I was a victim of hurricane Harvey. This is a pic before my evacuation. Had to park right in front of my door steps to the house. Besides tires are crapping out and last I remembered they're discontinued. It was equipped with Rugged terrain tires which I like. I believe they're bridge stones. Good reviews but all said premature failure due to cracks

But really my main concern is with installing 35x12.5, when I get ready to mount would it rub anything in the inside.

I have BFG Rugged Terrains and I personally think they're a joke, but thats neither here nor there. A 6" lift would bring the cab above the water, but your rear diff is still at the same level and can vacuum in water with the stock breather. It all really depends on which look you like better, because you can fit 35x12.5's on as low as a 3" lift in front. You'll likely need to do a CMC and massage some plastic/push the front liner forward, but all you need to do is buy the precut plates and find someone to do it, unless you have some welding/fab skills. And if you go the 3/1 route I'd bet money you'll need 1.25" wheel spacers to make them work with stockers. IMO you should only do a 6" lift if you're going up to 37's, but everyone has an opinion.

Thanks for your input. I'll look further into this. Maybe I'll even ask toyota about these concerns you are mentioning. If not then I'll contact all out racing as they're local and is an off roading shop.
