Does anyone here keep a radio in their truck? I keep a baofang 10 pro series in mine. Just asking cause Ive never used it to talk to anyone yet. I have it for "just in case" shit but Ive never used it

 

Good idea. I didn't check the weight distribution but it's just out of round. I think these sell for like $22 so cant expect much.

 

There's a whole backstory to state initials, just go with it. Aint no logic.
I have an FRS radio, used to use it on Rallye's. Might be in the room I call attic, or the basement, or - no probably one of those two places. Could be in the Tacoma. Hope I pulled out the batteries whenever I last saw it.

Yup, Baofeng 82HP handheld with a hard mounted Comet antenna and a MXT 400 40watt GMRS with a Midland antenna.

 

I need to figure out something or make mama comms handler, it’s hard to drive with a road soda and a road J, and wheel and drive and talk on the radio; I’d love to have that many arms!

I like my mic with a clip on it, I clip it to my seatbelt. Doesn't quite help the not enough arms issue though.
