Of course I have this code on my 08 Tundra 5.7. My code reader lists switching valve open bank 1. Is this the only issue or could the pumps be involved?
Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Mine was bank 2. Ordered a like-new Dorman valve from Amazon for 90$. Installed it and the code went away. Also checked both pumps in front of the passenger wheel well, both were dry. I know the code will come back sometime in the future but this was a quick fix and got my truck running. I’m torn between the bypass mod. One is 150$ the other is almost $500?! I’m fine with my temporarily fix for now until I do more research.

The doorman valves are poor quality and will fail again. I did the Hewitt 2nd gen bypass kit and still going strong with no issues

Is the bypass safe? I don’t want to cause any more problems.

All the bypass does is tell the ESC it doesn’t need to turn on. There are a few 30+ page threads on the subject including the owner of Hewitt who is happy to answer any w
