Poll: headlights

Ah yes, that uber-sophisticated ricer look, which is once again modern. I remember doing that on my '95 Civic.

I mean, eff those folks, but someone has to do it.

 

I'll never understand people putting clear corners on these trucks these days. I got it back when they were made, the clears were still popular. I had a set on my 99 ranger. But it also had tons of amber before.
Clears today just make our tundras look cheap. The stock corners are already like 75% clear as is and look great IMHO.

 

Yeah, I'm not a fan. Mostly for the reason that's obvious in my pic and your pic: The corner housing never matches the clear of the headlight. Looks out of place. Makes it look like three different lights are installed, not cohesive. It wsa very rare to manage to find one that fit the bill, I know a lot of guys who'd bake open their corners to manually remove the orange reflector so it'd match OEM, but even then you could see something was 'off'.

I prefer the clears. That just looks wonky, the OEM. But it's a Ford, so my expectations are low.

 

An EJ civic was my first car and I threw JDM all ambers corners in it. Thought about getting Amber lense paint and doing the same to the stockers on the tundra cause they have cracks

 

Agreed. I can see how with my typo you might think I was saying otherwise.

 

I see that on beetles a lot too

 

Either that or find some way to do the angry eyes.
