Dash lit up like a Christmas tree

Have had since August and only put 3800 miles on it to date.

On my way to my son's martial arts class tonight, pulling up to a light at about 25 mph when the vehicle felt jerky then this....

I stopped, turned off, back on, a few other things but nothing improves the situation. Taking it to the dealer.

Also, still waiting on the mysterious part they order weeks weeks ago for the wind noise in the cabin.

Not feeling this truck. Fingers crossed Toyota redeems itself on this expensive purchase.

 

First one I test drove did that 100 yards out of the lot. They claimed it was a fuse problem. I didn't buy that one. No jerking though. Just started lighting up like yours.

 

Did you test drive the Hybrid or Non-Hybrid?

 

Not sure if you can pull a code, but there was an ECU update for the Hybrids having some major problem:

Some 2022 – 2023 model year Tundra Hybrid and 2023 model year Sequoia Hybrid vehicles may exhibit a MIL ON condition with one or both of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) present:
 P060694 – Control Module Processor Unexpected Operation
 P060647 – Control Module Processor Watchdog/Safety MCU Failure

The Engine Control Module (ECM) (SAE term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM) logic has been modified to address this condition. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition.

 

I do have a basic reader.

Another strange thing is that my son was standing outside the vehicle while I was inside with it closed up. When I started it I could not hear it thru the sound dampening glass, but he said it did not sound normal and was making a clapping sound.
So weird.

 

Bells and whistles - nice until they fail. Wonder what percentage of issues are related to bells and whistles - and how many bells and whistles are "port" installed rather than production line installed. No issues here but I dont' have a single bell and whistle or "port" install option. sorry for your trucks problem - that is not acceptable for Toyota.

 

I have a 2022 Hybrid and haven't experienced that

Well, it's in the shop and day 1 done. An ABS related part needs placing ( an actuator??). Part on order. Maybe by Friday if will arrive. There could be more to this story, but I think they are starting with this part first and see what happens.

Loaner car provided, meanwhile.

 

I had the same thing replaced on my 22 Limited DC TRD-OR non-HV (12/11/21 build date) about a year ago. Strange the brake actuator cause so much havoc. They cleared the alerts and I drove it home and parked it until the part came in..

 

Painful to have a vehicle sitting now. Too new for this.
