    I want an EV truck, and I think the Lightning looks good, but I want one that works, has 450 real world miles of range, and can two my utility trailer at least 250 miles at a stretch. Also, only going to pay $40-$50K absolute max for it. Until then, EV trucks are a joke.

    Yup, but the range would be less because of the aero. Even though the CT looks stupid, it's "sleeker" than the Lightning.

    When Ford does nothing in the early days of EVs to correct the false public perception about them (catch fire, batteries need replacing, not reliable) and then doesn't understand why no one is buying their EVs once they introduce them to the market. They helped create that monster and are shocked it's affecting them now

    I don't know that they are shocked. If it wasn't mandated, they wouldn't have ever started down that road. They aren't pushing to be innovative. They just want an EV option so the "I only buy fJeRDs" people can buy their EV from them.

    I think that is optimistic. I foresee interference by politics in the affairs of Tesla that will derail their progress, and everyone else is at least 5-10 years behind where Tesla stands today.
