You know these phone devices we carry? Imagine a world where they were more than a speaker phone. What if we could put a small speaker at one end and a microphone at the other. People could then hold it to their ear and hear the other person on the call clearly, even in crowded/loud areas. And with a mic by their mouth, they could talk without having to yell!

I am a fucking genius.

Add internet and a camera and I think you're there. Or better yet, make the voices in their head but they still have to talk out loud.

I will say, if you live in an area that gets any sort of cold weather, stay far away from the SmartCap. My dad put one on his Tacoma (he lives in western MT) and it has been a nightmare from him since day one. Weather seal on the tailgate freezes to the tailgate and tears off the door. Window latches freeze up. Windows are held in place with double-sided tape and the dogs tear them off the panels when they pull their head back in after peeking out.

Could stand up in it, room for bed, kitchen and shower and could access the back from the front seats. I actually miss the van and wish I woulda been able to have it a few more years, finish the build out and take another trip with it.
