Thyroid issues are a mess. I hope they get you sorted, but if what they do doesn't help as much as you'd like, you should check out Dr. Ken Berry and his theories on diet and what it can and can't fix. He specifically talks about the thyroid issues at some point, but I've watched a bunch of his vids and can't remember where I saw him mention it.

Only if you're interested, of course.

I will definitely check it out if things go south again . Apparently it was Graves’ disease that caused it but it’s gone into remission now .

I get it. Mine was talking to me all the time. Anything I did, said, didn't do or didn't say was wrong, lecture time wrong. It was tough for a while.

With all of these serious issues I hate to ask but should I get the four burner Blackstone (at Costco for $400) or the Sam's Club knock off for $175?

Is that a real question? Why would you spend 175 when you could spend 400?

I think both prices are too high for a propane griddle. I'm sure they're both made in the same country so I'd go with the less expensive one.

Blackstone made their name, but IDK about overall quality. They just severely downgraded their travel version ergonomics and I wouldn't buy one today. It's still made in China and not exactly square. If there isn't some internal design or quality element that is easily distinguishable as better, I'd be tempted to go cheap.

We blew through money in a stage too. Both of us were going out. I can’t tell you how many meals and drinks I had, nightly. I was just blowing through it, as was she. No fucks were given. I think it’s like a small piece of therapy in an odd way. Stupid but we can’t change that.
Do you think she doing it as a form of therapy for her? Like a distraction technique? Or it could be the hormones fucking with her mind. My wife has thyroid issues and has to take meds for it. During our divorce, I would have had to pay something around $2500/mo for half of the marriage. We would have sold the house and split the equity and ensured our kids had a good, safe place to stay regardless of which parent they were with. This was the reason I sold the tundra. It was an extra vehicle, and while it was in my name- legally she gets half. (Colorado). She didn’t fight about anything I wanted to keep (tools, guns, this/that tv, whatever). We don’t believe in counseling, so we didn’t opt for that choice.

I get it man, 100% on the shit to be done. I have anxiety, and am prescribed a non narcotic medicine I take 3x a day. It brought it from a level 10 to maybe a 3-4. need to low the lawn? Has to be done now. Not tmrw, not next week, but now lol. It’s the reason why we’re gonna remove most of the sod this season. My anxiety can’t handle it…and when u stop
    Drinking ur anxiety rises.

Buy once, cry once. Plus Costco will take 99% of anything back. Get the BS
    You’ll actually sue it, I’m sure…unlike a certain someone. Cough * @GODZILLA *

What did Etsy do? Did they have a strong political stance as well?

It's craft shit bored moms do instead of parenting their kids, and they think they should be paid like they invented the best thing ever. Most of it is trash.

100% seriousness I'm sorry you think that. While there definitely is a lot of trash there is also some brilliant ideas that come to fruition on Etsy. Just now I found a fishing rod holder that uses the bed rails and I'm super excited to give it a shot. My glare blockers and little storage bucket for that square behind the shifter are also from Etsy.

100% not serious, but one of you drinks lady beers and the other drives a glorified golf cart and thinks it's cool, so... yeah.

I do have a much more serious issue at the moment that I need to work through.
I have an 8' bed and desperately need to cover it so I can carry tools around, go get drywall, etc. The weather sucks and I can't use my bed for 90% of what I need it for.
I've found plenty used caps for sale within a reasonable distance, but they are all for non-tundras. Really nice ones in the $2-500 range. The issue is the Tundra cab has a big forward slant at the back and the other trucks are more straight up/down. So the caps won't match up well at the back of the cab.
I'm not paying $3k+ for a new cap.
I'd go for a hard tonneau, but a one piece FG or composite tonneau for an 8' bed is non existent. I don't want a foldable or pleather tonneau. Even used, 8' don't exist anyway.
I could build my own, but how ghetto would it be? I don't have the time or energy to fab something that's actually nice.
Why can't there just be a white, 2.5 gen high rise cap for $400?
    Why is life so hard?

Wow, quite a night here. I don’t have any words of wisdom but will be praying for you. I went quiet in Dec cuz I was tapped out too. Zero energy to even scroll the pages for a bit. One day at a time.

Just tried to get on an earlier flight and decided the 90min time savings wasn’t worth the seat downgrade. So have a few hours to relax before my final leg.

Back to Dry January. Might take it a few weeks into Feb, but we shall see. Gotta get back exercising too… I lost about 6lbs before this trip; need to keep it going!
