What have you done to your 1st gen Tundra today?

Hey, does anyone know what the fill in our seats looks like? Got a mouse moving in again, in the cab and engine, found a nest going in the valley under intake, vacuumed it out and it looks like:

I don’t recognize this material, thinking it’s from the seats, anyone know? Just curious really.
Guess I should fix the steering shaft seal and at least try and keep them out of the cab.

Yup the red and blue-grey bits are the dead giveaway.

 

Get you some glue traps an put a dap of peanut butter on them. Just be sure to check them daily or at least everyother day

 

When I installed my sub under my seat l; i seent it. There’s a LOT of that material under our carpets.

 

There she goes. Last look at the old girl before wheels and tires go on.

 

God damn those starfish wheels are bad. She's gonna look a lot better.

How'd you replace your fuel door? Weld in a new one?
My pops has an 07 Taco and the fuel door hinge is broken on the top left side.

I bought the last one in existence, literally, from a dealer in WA. Had the new cylinder for a while, but the door finally came off a couple weeks ago.

i see some Trakmotive CV boxes back there. I have a pair of these waiting for my sons truck. We are going to be installing in the next couple of weeks. Have you used them before? Any secret tips to install?

 

Yep. Toyota offered some great looking wheels but those aren't it.

 

They aren't terrible. My only gripe was that they started to rust prett quickly. I have a post somewhere describing how to, let me look around.

I have set sitting on the side of my house. I will likely post them for sale once I hit the 50 post mark. In reality, I would just be happy for someone to take them away.

 

I hated my starfish so much that I took em to the recycle yard for $100. One less set out there in the wild.

 

I have a set wraped in some like 60% tread left Wranglers. 3 in the garage one as my spare.

 

I swapped them for some FJ take offs. Hell of a deal shipped 4 wheels for 390. Guy on eBay does toyota liquidation sales for dealer take offs. No tires for that price of course. I wrapped them in the Kumho Road Ventures 255 70 17s

I'm not normally a huge fan of black wheels but those look really good against the tan truck. Nice upgrade. Tires look mean too.
