For me this stuff didn't perform. Way over priced in my opinion.

How did it not perform? What steps did you take before applying?

Hot pressure washer hose down, cotton sponge scrub using Meguiars step 1 paint cleaner, hot pressure washer rinse, let dry overnight in the garage. Applied graphene in the morning as per instructions. I only applied graphene to the hood. The sides of my truck have vinyl to protect from rocks so I didn't apply there. The roof I applied Meguiars synthetic wax, same stuff I've been using for 25+ years.

After off-roading the mud came off the roof with a rinse. Still a film of dirt on the roof but not too bad. The hood however was very visibly dirty.

Ok, you applied the above ceramic to it?

    How old is the paint?

    I would have:
    Rinsed
    Foamed
    Rinse
    2 bucket wash
Foam / claymit (foam acts as a lubricity)
1 step polish if paint is new enough
    Buff off
    IPA
    Applied ceramic
    Let it cure

2020 Tacoma, garaged, KY weather. I'll redo the hood this time I'll add your suggested steps.

Foam / claymit (foam acts as a lubricity) -what product?
    1 step polish -what product?
    Buff off
IPA -What is "IPA"? -what product?
    Applied ceramic
Let it cure -what's your recommendation? It was at least 2 days in the garage before I drove it

I am so confused by your process.

I'm not going for glamor here, I just want something to shed dirt easily. My truck has its fair share of scaring from being used off-road and I'm ok with that. With this in mind, you now understand my process? I don't care if I can see my reflection in the paint.

    Pressure rinse with hot water
    wash with paint cleaner
    rinse with hot pressure wash
    Dry overnight
    applied graphene to the hood

I don’t understand the “just the hood” part of this. If you want to make ur life easy I’d do the whole thing. Your assortment of different products seems way over complicated and unnecessary. I would have to advise coating the PPF as well.

    My steps

    wash
    Rinse
    IronX
    Rinse
Griots speed shine and synthetic clay
    Wash
    Rinse
    Correct
    Polish
    Erase
    Coating
Two weeks later spray top coat

it’s seamless and direct. I’ve been offroad 3 times and still haven’t washed it. IMG_3881.jpg
    Works great on hoods also.
