    Is it me or are the domestics brutally behind the eight ball with EV vehicles. Tesla is on a whole another level compared to anything being produced from GM and Ford.

    My father-in-law got a Ford Lightning this past summer and does not like it at all and is trying to dump it. To say the least he is having a very hard time trying to unload it.....

    Yeah…don’t drive that thru the wash. If you were my neighbor, I’d help wash it. There’s a guy on a local cars and coffee page who’s looking for a place to wash his Audi and offered to purchase a pressure washer in exchange. I offered up my place, and will even offer to guide him and do it with him. Don’t need a pressure washer as I have one.

    it's not just you, but you have to look at it in context as well. Tesla does nothing but EVs. The domestics have a huge, bloated, bureaucratic mechanism in place that has failed to innovate effectively because they have had the market so solidly in their palm for so long that they never though they could lose it. Now that there is an alarmist push for banning their bread and butter they are not highly motivated to produce it well because that would mean they have to change. If the EV panic push fails, they can maintain their lethargic practices and push their volume to the "I only buy American" idiots.

    To put it in perspective, imagine if the gooberment were mandating all automakers produce at least 1 sedan, 1 coupe, 1 SUV, 1 midsize and 3 full size pickups with ICE. Tesla would be equally screwed because they simply don't have the infrastructure, expertise, or the desire to meet that demand.

    I was looking for a good pic to see what exactly is on this part of the wheel. The new one looks like it has "buttons" there that I would accidentally hit because of how I hold the wheel or rest my hands. When I leave the office today I'll try to remember to get a pic so you can see how my hands sit about 80% of the time.

    Ya new one has buttons. Technically, these also act as buttons. If I push the left one, it’ll mute the sound from the stereo. I think right is also voice command when pushed

    No sir I don’t. Ur car is essentially “off” when it’s in park. Also, keep ur feature on to roll up windows upon walk away (when it locks the doors)

    Off topic, but for your camera I keep my sentry mode off when it’s at home. If u program your home addy, it’ll know when ur at home so u don’t waste useless space

    Yep, got my home set and sentry mode off. Also keeping doors unlocked at home is nice.

    Not that I want to change it but where do you turn off regen braking?
