It's a heavy Navy Digital Camo cloth material.
Had a local seamstress cut, bind, and sew some velcro into it.
Sticks to the carpet inside the shell.
I think the hanging light I used for the pic. makes it all wonky.
Here's it is from the outside. . .

I meant the 4runner in the background.
T4R is forum slang for Toyota 4Runner.

    Ohhh . . . gotcha, I'm a geezer & not hip on the lingo.
That's my neighbor's . . . OG owner, guy is a TOTAL character, looks & talks EXACTLY like Gilbert Gottfried.
He does ANYTHING to avoid putting any money in that thing whatsoever.
I've actually seen him pouring fingernail polish on spots where the clear coat is toast, and spreading it with one of the $.99 wood handle brushes!
He rattle-can'd those wheels, didn't even tape off the tires ! . . .LOL.
I'll see him every once in a while touching them up !
    It's a 2WD 4-banger auto with close to 300K on it.

Looks great! I did something similar but attached a piece of 1/8" thick rubber over it for added comfort and grip. Also i was worried about how hot it would get when im camping in the summer time heat. Either way, big improvement over the ridged stock piece that just hurts your knees.

Very nice! Is that aluminum plate? I need to do something like that on my truck. Previous owner dented the inside area of the tailgate, and if I have a saw up there (or anything for that matter) it just wobbles.

Nevermind. Found where you said you used 18 gauge stainless. Nice work!

Just some MOOG K90680 links I put on in 2018. I've got the Suspension Maxx HD MAXXLinks to go on that have been sitting on a shelf for a year now. I've got a Tundra to-do list that's 2 pages long.

So I had my Bilestein 6112s adjusted yesterday. I had them set at location 5 driver side and 3 passenger side which states about .75 inch lift. They state you want the passenger side set lower to compensate for driver side lean. Well my truck always had a slight tilt to the passenger side based on that recommendation.

So yesterday had a shop compress my springs and move them to location 6 on the driver side which is about a 1 inch lift and to location 5 on the passenger per the shops recommendation.

Seems pretty level now but finished up in the dark so today ill get a better chance to see how level it looks in the daylight when i get home from work.

Only 60 bucks to adjust both sides. I think it was a good price considering compressing springs looks scary as hell, haha

EDIT: the reason i bumped up to the #6 location was because its the highest that Bilstein recommends for AC 4x4, and I had a little rake from adding the archive leaf springs. Also, why not get the full 1 inch lift, haha. Now should hopefully be pretty level front to back and side to side!

    Two slots difference seems excessive.

any difference in lean between full tank & empty? Did you have a lean before swapping? Think i'm gonna start by setting both mine on the lowest clip, but my truck doesnt really lean. At least didnt before i took the swaybar off.

I believe I had the lean whether i was full or not, but not totally sure. I do know everytime I looked at my truck over the past year i could notice the lean and ive had gas at all various levels throughout that time. I know for a fact i have a half tank in there now and there was a lean to the passenger side just before I got the shocks adjusted.

Also when i would fill up the tank for a camping trip and me in the drivers seat i still felt like i could see a lean from the hood but that could just be the perception of the curved hood.

Thats the strange thing, when i had Bilstein 5100s on my truck i didnt notice a lean and i also dont think they recommended different clip locations from driver to passenger sides on those shocks. Thought it was interesting that only the 6112s had that recommendation.

    650lb

Probably get 700lb swapped in if i ever get a winch and winch mount installed

Also been curious how much lift the 700lb spring would give on the lowest preload setting. Might be a better ride without adding extra preload to the spring.

Just to tie up this loose end and a tip for anyone that comes across this: Backup camera quit working after swapping to LED reverse lights. Figured the LED bulb wasn't pulling adequate amps to power the camera, as I had wired it into the backup light wiring. Installed a Sylvania 6 ohm load resistor into the backup light wiring, with the camera power splice at the same points on the positive and ground wires. Seems to have solved the issue. The new LED backup bulbs provide a ton more light at night, makes for a good combo with the cheap-ish backup camera.

So here in the next hear, goal is by the start of next summer, I wpuld like to re do my front end. Hood, bumper, trms, fenders and flares and the grille. But I am torn. Do i keep it original the 3 bar chrome or go with one of these. I also really really like the Herritige TOYOTA grille minus the amber running lights.

Or do i just do the 05 update on my 00? Thoughts, comments and opinions welcomed

The last grille you posted there is by far one of my favorite grilles for these trucks. I wish I could put it on my '06 simply, but that's not in the realm of possible. I think the hood side matches but getting the rest to work would be a PITA.
