We are getting rain - you can use my garage or we can see if we can find a stall at the boat house.

That sounds like fun but I have lost most function in my right hand. Wheeling might be a stretch and would hurt like hell. Been fighting this since Dec 21st and we went out of town on Dec 22nd so I could not get an appointment with a doctor for carpal tunnel until I came home, then had to wait to see the doctor last Wednesday to be told they are not sure it is all carpal tunnel and I have to get test done. I asked for something for the pain so I can sleep at night and was told nothing they can do. WTF ever!!!

I have my tests this Thursday and I will see if I can get some pain medication then

New guy here - OnX Off-road says it's a 6 hour loop. Do you guys do the whole loop, or have a turnaround spot? I'm in a stock ride height 2nd Gen - how difficult is the trail (i.e will I leave with my running boards attached to the truck?)?

I went in for tests today and it is confirmed I have carpal tunnel in both hands but it is not very bad. They said the loss of my hand is coming from my neck. Years ago (~2000) I went for some issues and had an MRI that showed 2 discs in my neck that were very close to completely being pinched off. They gave me all kinds of tests and asked each time if this hurt and nothing did. They said they did not want to touch it until it is time. DING DING DING!!! Apparently it is MFing time. This really sucks, I would love to go but not sure I could get through everything with one hand.

    Pics or it never happened!!!

Help me out here @BiggHertz -

I think this is the route we take. It’s about 20 miles of dirt and I think we covered it in about 2.5-3 hours taking a few stops along the way.
    upload_2024-1-25_14-51-15.png
I’d say any 4x4 with slightly larger tires and a decent driver should be fine. I don’t remember smashing anything but conditions have certainly changed since I’ve been there.

That 3 hr mark sounds about right for dusty daytime conditions, no deviations for say waterfall and not cutting north across Elvis.

heavy purple is from one of the times we all went where Jake and I split north. I know we had a few missed turns, but this was a 4 hr total trip of 40 miles
