The dealer I bought my wife's Pilot from keeps leaving me threatening voicemails saying that neither they nor any other dealer will be able to service the car until I get the recall for a "communication module" fixed. Nevermind the fact that I already had another dealer service the car a few weeks ago. Or that the second dealer couldn't get it in for the recall work until this week because they needed something from Honda (I can't remember if it was a part or if they need a tech to come in or what).

 

Communications Module? That sounds like something that benefits you none but makes money for someone else ... At your expense. Yeah, I wouldn't be too quick to get that done.

 

Well, I don't pay for recall work...

 

People who pronounce words that begin with "str" as if it's "shtr". Shtring, shtraight, etc.

 

How about adding an "R" to wash? "Gonna warsh my truck."

 

For some reason, that doesn't bother me. Of course, I grew up in New England, so I didn't pronounce my "R"s until I moved away for college.

Okay, so this is a weird one. I had an instructor in a class at a large tech company pronounce "breakfast" as "brekspuss". I thought I misheard her, but she did it several times and not facetiously. I think she was from Montana, so perhaps it's a regional thing. But I couldn't take anything she said in the class seriously after that.
