Some aftermarket was no good, did not last a year and others were Ok. I mostly buy Ryobi ones now.

Scored all this for $150 and a nice Sunday morning drive. I am not sure I will do anything with the Bilsteins, the sway bars were what I was after. Going to work on sourcing the hardware for the rear sway installation, some of the specialty hardware is missing. I really do not want to spend $70 for the rear swaybar hardware kit.

Thank you, this should help immensely. All of the standard hardware I am sure will be no problem (Grade 8 of course).

    My concern is these items:
    upload_2024-1-21_14-17-56.png
I'm missing one of the the item in figure 6-1 (bushing bracket?) and two of the items in 7-1 (saddle brackets?)

That is the one that is around $70 that I would prefer to avoid, if possible. I may end up getting it though, for three lousy proprietary parts.
I am still way ahead of where I'd be if I bought both of the full sway bars brand new.

It's a '55 F100...I picked it up last year from a dead relative and it is an absolute blast to drive!

    I'll bet, very nice!

I used to like same era Chevys better, but more and more came over to the Fords...I have two car projects I'll probably never finish, but that'd be the old truck I'd put on the list!

Same here...I've always been a Chevy/GM Fan and never noticed Ford for a minute...I'm just going to drive it until it can't anymore and consider updates...but it's nice standing out a bit with the old I6!

Bypassed the factory amp. Have had an aftermarket headunit (Sony XAV9500) for over a year. After some reading on the forum and some help from members, found out that the headunit is capable of sending more power to the speakers than the factory amp therefore creating a cleaner, better sound. Is it life changing? No, but for the cost of the harness ($18) and about 10-15 minutes of prep/install it was well worth it.

    Stock for now
The Kenwood I had in my 2013 had wireless and I now have an AA Wireless with the Stock HU in my 2021. Can't argue the convenience of wireless AA/Car Play, but honestly I still find that I'm plugging in to a charging port most of the time any way.

Thanks for link! I assume you just plug it into the USB in front center console and just let it sit there? Sorry for all of the questions, I appreciate you help!

    yup.

some tuck it...It just sits out on mine.

only weird thing is - the bluetooth name is "Volkswagen" - which is I guess a similar setup.

before you install - delete your present Tundra bluetooth connection....then plug in the new doo-dad.

    it will make it easier.

If you have an aftermarket head unit, it will play nice with that...if needed...our "gen 1" 2.5 gens missed out on all the cool stuff!
