You can edit the head unit native source selection via AA?

That's how I read the op's question. Wanted to ensure I didn't miss something.
I'd like to be able to define my source choices rather be force fed Amazon or apple of which I use neither.

What is next - replace fuel gauge with a Mobil gauge?

if i remember correctly, the head unit will automatically play the last used audio source. on my 2014 4runner, it auto starts playing spotify when the phone connects to the HU since i never change audio source when i get out/in

Theoretically you could delete it but you would need to learn c++ some python and be familiar with linux oh and also have a bunch of Toyota’s proprietary information. If you don’t wanna go that far you can disable CarPlay and Android Auto under your connected devices. This will default the truck to not search for a SIP compatible device and only use Bluetooth for audio and call transfer like the old days. If you connect a new device it’ll ask to use Carplay or stick with Bluetooth.

In Apple CarPlay you can’t delete it, but you can move it if that helps. I move those I don’t use to the end.

I think you can remove those with the minus signs from the view. The others can be moved around just by dragging them up or down, but I don’t think you can delete them from the screen. I think you CAN delete them from your phone, and that’ll pull them off CarPlay.

Almost bought a Sierra Denali this past summer before I came to my senses. Dealer said 2023 came with the 3 year plan built into vehicle price but dropped it for 2024.

oh trust me, oem's are trying to figure out a sub plan, they know thats where long term easy money is. even toyota has jumped on that plan with remote connect, etc.

True, but at least for now GM backed off of listing it as a line item on the window sticker. Nothing is free as they say.
