    I mean, the frame might be damaged beyond repair, but if not, it might be worth building it out for an off-road only truck....

    Nah I haven’t pursued that, I don’t have the time, space, or money to rebuild it. The frame is torn up front and twisted pretty bad. It would need a new frame entirely, and that’s just beyond what I can handle

    Question on this awning: how does it mounted? ARB site just says the mounting is separate. When you have time, can you tag me with pics of the mounting points? Do you think this could mount to the rear of the Caliraised bedrack? You say it's about 4 feet. Is that the length of it in the case, or is that how far out the awning rolls out?


    Similar question on this to the awning; did you ever mount it to the rack? Any suggestions if I wanted to mount it to the rack but have it readily removable so it's not on there for the 90% of driving that doesn't need it? Is it's size/shape awkward enough that moving it on and off is going to be a PITA? Doesn't look like there's any kind of a handle and it's meant to be more of a permanent install item.
    Do you need a compressor to pressurize it, or would a hand/foot pump be able to do it?

    I'm currently rocking one of these for water when camping and it works well so far, but the waterports have always intrigued me. Were you in my position of already having the 7 gallon jug pictured below, would you spend the $ to get the weekender?

    I’ll get some measurements and pics for you of the awning, but it has mini t tracks on the back to mount it. I used caliraised awning mounts but they are lost to the black hole of the garage so you’d have to grab a new set lol

    I had the waterport mounted to the roof rack and it was easy peasy. Caliraised makes a bracket for bed racks that is really slick. @jewsNbrews has it on his rack and can maybe share a pic for you. The mount is a little spendy but worth it, because it’s not really possible to rig anything else up to the bed rack.

    Honestly I’m still trying to figure out my perfect water storage setup so I don’t have an answer for you. Once the waterport is gone I’ll be going back to rotopax until I figure something else out.

    Appreciate the info!

    I went out and measured the bed rack on my truck. Forgot just how much lower the Taco it. The awning would hit me in my face if it came straight out from the bed rack, so if I snag it, I need some way to mount it at the RTT level rather than the rack. I'll ponder this.

    Yakima might make awning brackets that work specifically with those oval type load bars. If they have a t slot in the top of them you could probably use regular awning mounts like what caliraised, uptop overland, RCI, and etc sell
