This happened to me a couple times while doing re-lamp/retrofit for a lighting company in south Orlando BITD. The two big ones I remember were on an HO fixture in a freezer aisle, and the other was up on the ceiling while on a rolling scaffold. I have faint memory of one in a hair products aisle, but the other two are much more fresh.

Part of the job. More normal
Than you’d thing. Scaffolding wheels, one guy rolls the other guy around pulling bulbs and/or fixtures off the ceilings of grocery stores, reinstalling new ones.

There’s a ring hanging from the rear view mirror of my 1GT. It’s teardrop shaped on one side. Fell off the scaffold once and that ring caught the edge, pulling it into a teardrop shape and about ripping my finger half off. I was probably 130# at that time so it’s not like it was much to catch.

Can anyone recommend a shop to perform a PPI around Denver, specifically Aurora?

Alternatively, if there's anyone out there that would like to go check out a truck for sale in person, on my behalf, I am happy to compensate you for your time and input.

Shoot me a DM either way.

    Thanks,
    DF

A manager I worked with used to take his wedding band off at the beginning of the day and put it back on when ready to go home.

I don’t recall him doing any actual physical labor on the job, so most likely for other reasons. :D

Yeah, this happened 30ish years ago. There’s a reason I still have the ring and keep it hanging on the rearview of my truck. Constant reminder: Don’t be a f’ing dunbass. I don’t wear any rings anymore, and I prefer it that way. Side bonus: I noticed when I stopped wearing my wedding band, the number of chicks who hit on me dropped about 1,000%. Which is exactly how I like it. Poppa gets what he needs at home, aplenty. Y’all single dudes may want to try that sometime, start wearing a wedding band. Just remember, if someone is hunting you knowing you’re married, they’ll do it to you if you marry them also.

Interesting. I rarely wear a ring but never noticed this. Maybe I’m way uglier? Dunno. I guess I don’t really go out anywhere.

When i was dating the girl with family in taos she bought me a copper ring, and i always liked the green it left on my finger. But my fingers are too webbed for rings to be comfortable.

Maybe it's just my proximity to Florida or something. Florida is fully of crazy. I learned early on spending some of my impressionable early years there, never stick your dick in crazy. That's a mistake you only make two or three times, and hope you don't land any permanent repercussions.

Fellow web sufferer here. Only fingers not impacted are pinky and thumb. That ring above was on my thumb. Which is also part of the reason it had a harder time snapping bone.

San Francisco was my only experience with a well stocked pond. Due to the preponderance of men who like men and heaps of confident and well employed women. I was too young and poor back then to know what to do with the odds in my favor. San Diego is bro heavy and the PNW, well, it’s not exactly the source for Miss America…
