Agreed 100%. I found his number in a comment and PM’d you it. It would be great if there were a business website for his stuff, would make the jump a lot easier.

it’s a small 1 man shop outta his garage. Does custom exhaust for Nissans and infinitis too. He has some more pictures/videos on his instagram. He does respond to emails quickly

    https://www.instagram.com/tig_welding_creations?igsh=YzVkODRmOTdmMw==

Very tempted to buy one. It looks to be the highest quality and more thought out design available. Had an AFE turn down and took it off the next day bc it was too much drone for me

Not a fan of mass-produced exhaust systems and I do like to support the small business community. I've seen post of products made by DD and TWC. DD certainly gets the majority of reference, especially with pre-Gen3 owners. I want a system that not only has the sound I am looking for but a system that is not finished with high temp bbq paint or has welds that look like bubble gum. Like ice cream we are fortunate that we have more than one flavor. Roast away but show your support by your purchase choice. I did.

@TigWeldingCreations is the way I’m going to go. I contacted Casey and he does really respond quickly. I haven’t ordered yet and customer service is A++. I can’t take my eyes off his work. I’m fighting the urge to go ahead and pull the trigger on an exhaust I don’t need but REALLY want. I was behind a Mustang today that had a really obnoxious exhaust. My wife looked over and said she was so glad when I was done with that stage of my life. If she only knew.

smart choice! Casey is very helpful, professional and proud of his work = it shows in his products. I'm waking up every morning a day closer to my install. I have the fuel leak recall to get done - I know for a fact the guys in the shop are gonna flip when they see it and hear it. Local Tundra Gen3 owners are going to want one too once they see and hear it.

You are intitled to your opinion and to support the vendor of your choice. Doubt you will get any empathy or sympathy from those of us in TWC's court. Post up some pics of your DD product - we would all like to see them as a good comparison of quality in every aspect. :boom:

from experience it is simple - I did mine with a hand hacksaw. More work than a power tool but less scary too.

I’m with you. I need/want a perfect cut because there’s no going back once it’s done. Yeah I know OEM could be welded back on but I’m too OCD for that :angrygirl:

never used one of those - wonder if it crushes the pipe in the process - honestly a hand saw or power Sawzall with the proper blade cuts it like butter.

Thanks. I have a HF reciprocating saw so I may just get a quality blade and go for it or go your route with a handsaw. :notsure:

@TigWeldingCreations very good looking and sounding slip on for these trucks. Do you by chance have the ability to create a high flow mid muffler section for Lexus IS500 f sport? Would love to replace the big suitcase with something like what you have here. Thank you in advance

It has nothing to do with being a fan of another competitor, it has to do with the attempts people trying to get better sound out of a V6.

It is my opinion Sir, it sounds like a fart can on a rice burner.
You didn't start this thread, I'm not attacking you, I didn't even quote you.

I just don't get putting lipstick on a pig to get a V8 sound.
Just so you don't get too butthurt, it isn't just your product that sounds that way to me.
I feel the same with any aftermarket catback that has been posted since the inception of the Gen 3.
At least you used a Helmholtz, thats more than others did..

I don't have to own a Gen 3 to have a view of what an aftermarket exhaust for one sounds like.
If they like it, so be it..

Perhaps you should consider becoming a forum vendor since you're so confident in your product instead of promoting it on this forum for free..

    Good luck to you..

I found the ignore button works perfectly and as intended - I've used it a few times and most recently to extinguish low life non-gen3 degenerits emitting trash on gen3 threads. Get off our lawn.

You two should get a room...
Nice to see you've become closer as a result of my influence..

Thank you both for the ignore.
    Smells like victory..

God forbid a non-gen 3 owner has an opinion on anything to do with a Gen 3.

Don’t care what anyone says. TIG exhaust is the best one in my opinion. Better than DDs (come at me bros).

Doesn’t sound as good as the 5.7L but then again looks a TON better than 10 year old bubble truck. 2.5 gen holding it’s looks not so bad but man the bubbly 2nd gen’s, aged terribly

Just minor stuff. For example, Undercover bed cover, Tufskinz custom door sill protectors, and TRD air filters.
I haven’t checked but have heard that the two pipes going into the y-pipe before the muffler are different diameters. On a catback, I believe they’re the same size. Does anyone know if these pipes are different? If they are, why?

Just minor stuff. For example, Undercover bed cover, Tufskinz custom door sill protectors, and TRD air filters.
Thank you. It looks like I may be just changing the muffler and initially leaving the resonator on. I can ditch the resonator later depending on sound/drone. I’d like a more free flowing muffler but don’t want cabin drone. Again, thanks for the reply.
