yup

folks ingest all that negative media about Tesla, etc.

then, confirmation bias slaps them in the face when they see the awesome products he produces for humanity.

it's fun to watch.

 

I did not know this - that is cool how efficient EV's are with their power delivery. 7% drivetrain loss...not bad!

Drivetrain loss in an ICE can be as high as 20%. Some of the trucks around this forum could be as high as 30% after modifications if I had to guess.

 

If you could buy it out after that might be worth something, but their no buy out policy sinks the idea of a lease.

 

I am jealous that your Tundra fits inside with what appears room to spare.

Picked up some 2" baseboard trim to keep the cord from getting caught in the tracks.

You've got a garage gym right? My buddy has a containment pad that he parks his Tesla on over his gym floor, works pretty sweet

 

I do. But I also have a metric crap ton of other stuff in there. Mine is outside on the side of the garage in the rv driveway.

ex. I did not vote to spend 150m to "repair" EV charging stations. or to pay off millions in student debt. but here we are.

we are being bludgeoned into "submission" with made up "laws".

Is it not allowed, or is Ford thinking it isn't worth their time to offer it? Seriously asking. Complaints about the government is all over this thread... I haven't really seen any specifics by Ford saying there will be no diesel when doing a quick search. So I am trying to figure out if you are again bitching about the government or have seen an actual press release by Ford.

 

remember - this concerns the Ford Excursion.

it was Ford's best selling "SUV".

but, it got bad mileage & was pulling the "regulated" EPA MPG standard down for Ford - and American* sales were halted (not allowed)

this happened many moons ago.

so....there is your answer. we were mandated into not being able to buy an excursion.

The final year of the Excursion, they couldn't sell enough probably due to higher gas prices. How is that mandating they can't be sold in the US? That was Ford's decision to stop losing money...They obviously didn't do a good enough job at that.
