    So I'm thinking about replacing my PRO step rails because I don't like how low the steps are. They are a year old and in good shape. Do you guys think there would be any demand for them and at what price?

    I'm not sure what you have on your truck. The steps you have are not a factory Toyota item since the pro doesn't come with steps. If they were on the truck when sold new they are a dealer add on. Post pictures, someone may be able to identify them.

    All the PROs I've seen in this area have the same steps. Weird.

    Generally speaking (not absolute, for sure) steps are an indication that the truck gets little serious off-road use and is probably a mall queen.
    The fact is, most people really don't spend much time off road and when they do it's just graded forest roads.

    All of the Tundras and Tacomas at my dealer have steps (different styles depending upon the model) unless special ordered without them. They installed at the distributor. For instance, my Platinum came with the tubular chrome type while TRD models come with the N-Fab type. Dealer credited the sticker price of mine off of the sale and then I sold them on Craigslist for $300. Then, I bought Amp PowerSteps.

    Regardless, there's no such thing as "pro steps", they're an add on, and when they are there, will be different manufacturers from dealer to dealer and region to region.
    I'm not saying this is good or bad. Just not something you can not "look for in a Toyota manual ".

    @TRD Pro Rookie
    Do you plan to do much off road travel in your Pro?
    The long wheel base on these trucks makes it easy to high center and get damage like this:
    IMG_0794.jpg
    Sliders will protect the truck from damage and many sliders work well as steps.
    Much more expensive, but if you high center on typical steps, they'll crumple and fold.

    I thought that, but when you said you were wanting to go with the Go Rhino, i wasn't sure. I don't believe those are sliders. Just a different step. Good luck and I hope you're as happy with your pro as I am with mine!

    I didn't really forget about your category, I just ignored it, lol.
    But even the most lifted trucks could rip those steps off or bend em bad if hitting hard trails, true?

    +1, I had to put them on my F150 to accommodate the ex & MIL. Ex was a hair short of 5'. When I bought my 2017 Tundra I had dealers price without steps. I one balked and said that all their new trucks had them. They got creative and decided they could put them on a used truck. The only reason I would have them is for door ding protection and to stand on when washing roof. The problem I have these they get in the way when I exit the truck. I think that Toyota got rid of the drivers side grab handle to sell more steps
