Oil change is due at 310. That's when I'm doing it. Oh, I'm also going to replace the oil pressure switch for the updated updated part so it's not sitting on L all of the time.

I was considering going with longer ones for slightly more drop. These are only 3/4" drop.

Both made by TC? What are you running or not running that needs so much drop?

I'm curious as well, for both of y'all.
Me on the other hand, I think my truck could use an extra inch in the rear.

FFS that just sounds wrong...

I got the SOS front lowering kit (2") this last black friday.

It's why I was asking for 5100 measurements. See if it would work with those as well as the 4600's.

Why not buy the SOS rear kit?
I have the 2"/3.5" SOS drop kit installed. I really like it. I don't see any reason 5100's wouldn't work. The only specs different between the 4600's if you set the 5100's to 0 lift is the valving. I wish I had done 5100's in front. Would've been stiffer suspension, which I prefer.
I do plan to use 5100's in the rear soonish. For now I have KYB shocks in the rear.

That's what happens when you refuse to make simple changes adapting hybrid technology to leverage the strengths of traditional vs. modern so you can save face with constituents. The people get to suffer to keep everyone on message.

    I can't wait to move off-grid.

I got quote for solar today. I guess the PNW is a harder spot for it to make sense. Total system cost of $80k? Nuts. And it needs 48 panels. Crazy. So cal is a different world.

I’m not sure I’m buying that panel prices have increased in cost over the past 5 years. Don’t see why that would be true.

I'm leaning towards only doing 1-1.5" drop. Otherwise I would have.

As far as front shock/struts, I just need to get someone to confirm shock body diameter and clip of the 5100 is identical to the 4600.

If different, I'll have to machine an adapter/spacer.

Shock body is the same. Clip should be the same when set to 0

I looked into this for the 4.7. Are those the same part on the V6?
If they are the same share that part# Mine is, well like all my truck, a rusty barnacle

I think this will end up being the most snow for us since 1993. For once they underestimated how much we got. I'm at 9-10" depending on where I measure.

We're going to attempt a Costco run later. I have yet to see a snow plow.
