@dmash can you share where you got the wildpeaks at. This will be my next tire on my platinum as it has H speed rated tired on it from the factory and do not want E rated. I'm having a hard time finding these. I would be happy with an XL load range but thats it.

    Thanks in advance

Do your due diligence on the Wildpeaks. Plenty of posted on this forum and others about issues with uneven wear on the front tires with Gen 3 Tundras.

I love my Falken Wildpeaks AT3W. Would replace with the 4W when I need new unless reviews go sideways.

I just put on a fresh set of At3W in November. I had KO2 and Ridge Grapplers and once was great in snow and awful in wet and the other was the opposite. The Falkens were better in both snow and wet conditions. Not as good looking as the other two but good enough with better performance for me. Will stay with Falken until something better rolls around.

I have and my O.E,s (yokohamas)are try to hang in as I just had another alignment on another post first @ 500 miles and now @ 6000 miles. Shop is a family owned 50 yrs and he brought the camber out alittle more.? Toe was off again ( sets at 0) and I adj rear air hight since the first alignment. F150 did good with them so I want to try them when the time comes on the T. Just not seeing anything available???
He also states once a radial tire has uneven wear even after correcting the alignment it will never wear completely normal.

Factory tires (I had geolander's) werent great. The tires that come with the truck arent the same as what you can purchase at a tire store.
    More like demo tires.

Yeah toyota I am sure owns something in faulken since they are a japan company. The best thing you could do for your truck is get some nice all terrains. I just got back from driving around in about a half a foot of snow covered roads passing vehicles in ditches and crashed out cars everywhere. The open country's were like a knife through butter.

Not the largest tire but I didnt want to go nutz as I drive on road 100%.
Didnt get an alignment, so far so good. Got 8k on them and still got lots of tread yet.

@Tom976 what's the load range you got and are yours a/t3w or a/t4w?
    Thanks
Still cannot find anything other than load E and the op never replied to my previous question.

Those LT285/65/20s are still E rated tires.

    ya no thanks.

Im so done with the load E deal. I like my 33" P-rated ones this time. those are going to be WAY heavier than stock as well.

It’s good to know what you like. I can’t imagine having P rated tires on a truck. Even every Tacoma, 4runner, small pickup, and Land Cruiser I have ever owned had E rated tires. I am planing to drive as little as possible on my OEM tires once I take delivery next month.

ya, I used to be the same way, I had all kinds of Load E on my former tundras. I'm getting older and like the quieter, smoother ride now, plus no hit to efficiency and power loss. some of these load E's now a days are really heavy

FWIW, P rated can take anything you can legally load on a tundra and be just fine.

But I get it, especially if you want larger than 33", then its real slim pickings until you get to Load E

Passenger tires do fine if pavement is your only use. And you aren’t worried about severe snow service or long life. Everything is a trade off, but I drive “Offroad” at least once a week. P rated tires likely won’t last a year so I figure I’m better off to sell them “like new” and put appropriate truck tires on.

I really wish tall/narrow metric LT sized tires existed. I’d love some thing like a 265 with an overall diameter around 34.5-35.5”

I get it, that intersection of sizes is hard to find. not trying to change your mind just throwing this out for others.

here is what I have, they are severe weather rated, and aren't passenger car tires, but still only weight 45 lbs which is 6-7 over stock and 33" x 11".

also made in USA with 65K warranty

What size coopers are you referring to?

I’ve had a bunch of coopers lately because they have been cheap. But they have all been heavier than advertised and absolute hell to balance and keep balanced. I suspect several I have had warrantied were out of round from the factory. I’d buy them again if they were still cheaper than the competition, but based on what I’m seeing they are even more expensive currently.

Currently planning for either 285/65-20 or 295/65-20 Toyo AT3s for my incoming 2024.

Ran these on my 17 4Runner TRDPRO. Found them to be an excellent compromise matching my on the road and Off-road driving. They were very good rain tires and matching snow traction

they are 33" so I think you want something larger from what you are saying, but they fill the wheel well nicely and look better than stock IMO

Looks good! Seems like you found your goldilocks. Also glad you are having better luck than me with coopers. Have a set on my 2011 4Runner and my 2014 Tundra that I am ready to move on from.

ya, I have had good luck with coopers, I had the Load E XLT on my 16 and STMaxx on my DC.

Im done with the BFGs, that suck after 10K miles and are louder than hell and suck in the rain

good luck with your search and post a pic when you done

Now that’s way better than those silly little stock tires. I’m liking that a lot
