    But seriously you just put these through the back window to the dash, I move 16ft trim all the time like that just put something on the dash to protect it.

    400 lbs of rebar sitting on the dash, rear window sill, and tailgate is a bit different than trim, IMO. I'd use a trailer or pay to get it delivered.

    Honestly? No dumber than some of the sketchy loads I’ve seen in truck beds or on trailers…. I’d feel better about 400# or rebar slung under the truck like that than all of the ATVs you see with a tailgate down and one lightweight Harbor Freight ratchet strap wrapped around a foot peg…
