Very much so. Trees broken or toppled over all over the place (a few narrowly missed the house).

Is this a kit or a DIY? I have the old kit from my 2013 but it's a different size.

    Rolled over 70k this morning.

Waiting for some warmer weather to replace the armrest leather that’s been peeling. And time, time to replace it.

Today I noticed the radio antenna broke off some point recently. I never really listen to the radio, so probably just gonna leave it be until spring or a day with warmer temps. Hopeful I can just use an extractor to get it out. Gives me an excuse to now update it with a stubby I guess

Just finished my first transmission drain and fill. Drained 4 quarts, replaced with 4.5. then conducted fluid level check per proper procedure using Scangauge to monitor trans temps (checked when pan read 100°F).

Fluid didn't look great. Truck has 67k miles, and is new to me. Should I do another drain and fill soon? Leaning towards doing 1 or 2 more. Thoughts?

Did the same on my 2020 this morning. Just a couple 100 miles under 50k and mine looked similar color wise. No funny smell, but I did send a sample to Blackstone to see what their analysis says.

One more drain and fill wouldn't hurt...

Just FYI... The OE transmission fluid for these trucks will turn a darkish color fairly quick, so I wouldn't gauge quality/condition of the fluid by color alone

Copy that. The guy I bought it from maintained it meticulously (every 5k at the dealer), but it also was used primarily for towing his travel trailer from Vegas to all the national parks in the Western states, so I want to ensure I do everything I can to maximize the life of my transmission.

So one more drain and fill tomorrow it is

    You're doin' it...

Oil every 5k; tranny drain and fill every 60k; diff and t-case every 30k (especially the first 30k) so if he didn't have record of doing it, i'd get that done soon; coolant at 50k; PS fluid at 50-70k; brake fluid every 3-5 years (drain and fill only and closer to 3 years if a lot of towing or moist climate); and plugs every 120k!!!

I'd stick w/Toyota ATF WS, OE Pink 50/50 Super Long Life coolant, and OE Plugs only!!!

The rest really doesn't matter as long as it's good stuff; don't pay extra for synthetics just get good quality fluids and oil and change it on time!

I've had my '08 since new, and it's almost hittin' 280k... lots of towing in the vegas area (mostly up to Utah), long family trips and fun runs!!!

Hey guys, are any of you possibly doing anything about preventing wear n tear on the padding of the center console? I imagine after so many years, the driver's side will likely fade or wear out. I'm finding my arm is resting on it just about 100% of the time. Thinking of maybe Velcroing a piece of cushion or even a thin sample piece of Purple grid for that extra armrest comfort ;)
Anyone out there have the same concern as me or am I being xtra?

Mine looked like that the 1st time I did it at 50k miles. I now just do a drain and fill once a year. Every year since the fluid has looked very similar to new.

I'm at 225k now with lots of heavy towing every year.
